It’s Estelle’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)
Estelle made a frame by recycling a wooden plank. For the background she used a Simon Says Stamp Blossom Field Embossing Folder and used Distress Inks to add color. She used a Tim Holtz Classics #5 cling stamp set and a Flourish Layering Stencil. She used Distress Ink Re-Inkers to color the face.

Andrea used a Swiss Dots embossing folder to add texture to her tag. She cut the tag shape using Waffle Flower’s Nesting Tags die set and added some text using Seth Apter’s ESA34 stamp set. The patterned paper in the background is from Spellbinders’ Hello It’s Me set.

Anna-Karin made a grungy tag with a heat embossed background. Tim Holtz Number Blocks stamps were used for the background together with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder. The little flowers were die cut with Simon Says Stamp Poised Primula die.

Barbara made her Memorydex for May using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Roses 3D Embossing Folder. She used some Distress Ink pads to color the roses and used Ranger Ink Embossing Clear Powder to make them shiny. She created the background with the Flourish stencil in the mini version (mini set 10) and a stamp from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous French Marketplace set.

Kath decorated a Kraft Gift Bag to give to a gardening friend using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Typewriter Texture Fade, the florals from Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Floristry Side-Order Thinlits, coloured in Summer Distress Oxide colours – Abandoned Coral and Evergreen Bough and added Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Specimen Remnant Rubs.

Macarena keeps going with bright colors and for this card she embossed Tim Holtz Abstract Florals Stamps with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder. She added a layered tag from Elizabeth Craft Designs Tag Variety Pack Dies and Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paste Translucent for the background.

Maura combined an ATC with an art journal page using Tracy Evans Seedbeds stamp set, Simon Says Stamp’s Clear Embossing Powder, and stencils like the Simon Says Stamp Monstera stencil.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps THE PROFESSOR on the background, embossed it with Hero Arts EMBOSS CLEAR EMBOSSING POWDER and decorated it with Tim Holtz idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAiTS.

Zoey used Gold Embossing powder and Numbered embossing folder for the theme. She also used Ideaology photobooth to decorate her tag. Inks and sprays are from the distress ink line

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
