Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Carrie had fun creating a layered watercolor card. For the background she used a Stampers Anonymous Mixed Media Stamp Set along with Tim Holtz Inks and Stains. She blended Mermaid Lagoon and Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide Inks together along with a splattering of shimmery Shiny Bauble Mica Stain. She added extra sparkle with Beads and Gold Leaf helped brighten things up, all topped with a Simon Says Stamp You Shine die!  

Andrea upcycled a notebook with a message to shine! She used several dies for her project, including AALL & Create’s Letter Soup dies, Tim Holtz’s Abstract Elements dies, and Tim Holtz’s Specimen dies. She also did some stamping with Tim Holtz’s Mixed Media 2 stamp set.

Anna-Karin made an art journal page with a lot of sparkle and shine. She used Tim Holtz Distress Spritz to add shimmer to the background, focal panel and to the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Hummingbird Duo birds. The title was die cut with Simon Says Stamp You die from Tangerine Glitter Cardstock and Bold Brights Color Blend cardstock.

Barbara is already totally into the Halloween mood and has created a tag using the Ranger Distress Mica Stain background and the Ranger Distress Spritz to make her project shine. She used the new Sizzix Tim Holtz dies from the new Vault Halloween Collection Fright Night and Wicked. Since Barbara loves to mix old and new, she also used the Moonlight Thinlits Dies from the previous collection.

Kath created a Halloween Shaker card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Foliage Wreath and Gothic Portraits Thinlits with lots of Distress Glitter, Distress Mica Stain and Distress Spritz sparkle and shine.

Macarena made a sparkle and shine background for her vintage botanical card using Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste Sparkle and AALL & Create Evergreen stencil. She built the composition with 49 and Market Krafty Garden Stacked Frames and Ephemera Bits as well as with Vintage Essential Rub-ons.

Maura was inspired by the Paper Artsy Jofy JM 70 stamp to create a “wonderfully weird” science themed project. She use Tim Holtz Folio Folders, Simon Says Stamp Old Letter clear stamp, AALL and Create Mad Scientist Ephemera, and Simon’s Rainbow Splash Drops. She added some gold gouache for an extra shine.

Meihsia was inspired to create a Halloween tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Spooky Sweets on the background, colored it with Zig CLEAN COLOR 90 SET Real Brush and decorated it with Tim Holtz Distress Rock Candy Crystal Clear Glitter.

Zoey used Distress Mica Stain and Distress Pearl Mica Crayons to add shine to her tag! She also used a bunch of Tim Holtz Layering Stencils and stamp. Embellishments are all from Ideaology
