It’s Wanda’s  last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Wanda has created her project on a Mini Etcetera Tag using Tim Holtz Floral Trims and Forgotten Garden Stamps and Coordinating Simon Says Stamp Die Set along with a Spots Stencil, a Intertwine 3D Texture Fade Embossing Folder. She also used Collage Strips Large Paper Strips Mini Stencil Chips Texture HammerSalvaged HeartsCello Sticker TapeChitchat Sticker Distress PaintsInksSpray StainsEmbossing GlazeTexture Paste OpaqueCrackle Paste OpaqueArchival InkWatercolor PencilsCrayon.

Andrea made a tag using lots of dies from AALL & Create (Intricatags, Heartnook and Frayed Frames). She added texture with fabric and Simon Says Stamp’s hole-filled Stitching Panel die.

Anna-Karin made a pastel card with soft textures: splatters and splotches, stamping, old book paper, a doily and more. The background paper is Ranger’s Specialty Stamping paper which in itself has an interesting texture. The roses, doily and leaves were die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Boutique set. The background is stamped with Simon Says Stamp Old Letter Background.

Barbara made a tag using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Forgotten Garden stamp set and the Labels stencil. She used Ranger Grit Paste Translucent and Prima Marketing Honey Finnabair Art Alchemy Metallique Wax as textures. In the center the butterfly is cut with the Sizzix Vault Scribbly Butterfly die and the small decorations with the Vault 2 Boutique thinlits die.

Cheiron created a tag with lots of texture using DIstress Opaque Texture Paste through the Feather Layering Stencil. She sprayed over the dried paste with Distress Spray Stains and did some stamping using the Correspondence set. She added a Photobooth photo along with a stamp from the Postmarked sticker book and a Snarky Talk sticker.

Kath created an Art Panel Collage in neutral tones decorated with paper from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Backdrops Volume 1, Serendipity Collage Paper, Postmarked Sticker Book, Cello Sticker Tape, all favourites from the new Tim Holtz Idea-ology release and Distress Texture Opague Crackle with the Deco Floral Mini Layering Stencil from Set 60 to add texture and added pops of colour with Distress Crayons

Macarena started with embossing the base of her tag with Tim Holtz Sizzix Tree Rings 3D Embossing Folder and then she added a stitched panel with a negative bird cut out from Tim Holtz Sizzix Silhouette Birds die.

Maura took the opportunity to cover one of her art journals with texture and color. She used Tim Holtz’s Deco Feather stencil, Ranger’s Transparent Matte Texture Paste, and added color with paints like the Dina Waklley Acrylic Paints in Ocean and Magenta.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using The Crafter’s Workshop WHITE MODELING PASTE and Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 3 for the texture on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology TRANSPARENT THINGS and Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS MINI.

Zoey used Grit Paste Opaque through the beautiful Damask Layering Stencil . Then she used Distress Spray Stain to add color to her background. She decorated her tag with Ideaology Items and Artsy Leaves

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
