It’s Ann’s  last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Ann made a masculine card this week, using Tim Holtz Sizzix Numbered 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder and WOW Embossing Powder Crusty Copper. She used both embossing and heat embossing techniques to make the background.

Andrea’s colorful collaged card has heat-embossed marks drawn with American Crafts Moxy Embossing Pens. The wonky edges are courtesy of AALL & Create’s Numberama Die Set and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz’s Mesh and Typo stamp and stencil combo pack.

Anna-Karin made a tag using a combination of dry and heat embossing. The background was embossed in Tim Holtz Mosaic 3-D folder and inked with Distress Ink. The flowers were die cut with various sets by Simon Says Stamps, such as the Layered Rosebud and Dreamy Daisy Layers set.

Cheiron created a fun desert plant arrangement using the Simon Says Stamp Labyrinth Embossing Folder and Nested Domed Arches dies and paired them with the Hero Arts Cactus Fancy Dies. The sentiment comes from the Stamp and Cut XL message strips.

Emma created an Etcetera Tag and used the wonderful Stampers Anonymous Mr Rabbit stamp set by Tim Holtz. She embossed the polka dot background with Fossilized Amber Embossing Glaze before framing Mr Rabbit, the Great Adventurer, in an Etcetera Facade and adding die cut foliage and a Large Word Plaque.

Kath used Simon Says Stamp Floating Flowers Embossing Folder from the Wild and Free Flowers April Card Kit to create the background on her card and decorated with Tim Holtz/Sizzix BrushStroke Butterflies Thinlits and Simon Says Stamp Script Hello Shadow die.

Macarena was inspired by The Banshees of Inisherin movie and made this card in a dark mood using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Halloween Baseboards and Transparencies window and broken glass sheet. She added an embossed Tim Holtz Sizzix Moonlight die.

Maura created a steampunk style tag. She embossed the tag using Tim Holtz’s Mechanics 3D embossing folder and Tim Holtz Scorched Timber Embossing Glaze. Simon Says Stamp’s Pawsitively Saturated Ocean ink added a layer of color to the tag, and cogs, gears and a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Factory Tag finished off the steampunk style.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix MOSAIC 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder on the background, and decorated it with Simon Says Clear Stamps Hey Sweetie and Tim Holtz Idea-ology SENTIMENTS Label Stickers.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
