This is Tracy’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure having you along with us :-)

Tracy loves to take macro pics of nature and she used one of her own photos for the focus of todays card. She used Simon Says Stamp Fog Card Stock, a My Favorite Things Polaroid Shaker Frame, a Pretty Pink Posh Simple Strips Die Set, and Sweet n Sassy Faith Wordfetti.

Andrea saw this sweet old retro van on vacation on year and took a picture of it. She used the photo as the background for her Dina Wakley White Media Journal page. She also used Tim Holtz’s Stitches stencil and a sentiment from Dina Wakley’s Collage Collective 2, Vol. 1.

Anna-Karin made a slimline card featuring old family photos. The circle photo frames were die cut with the Simon Says Stamp Repeating Circles die. The background was stamped with SSS Anna’s Flowers and Crackle Background stamps.

Barbara created a Halloween project using an Idea-ology Vignette box Divided Drawer adding a spooky picture! She used Idea-ology Tiny Lights Halloween, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil Rosette, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Cadaverous stamps set, Idea-ology Toadstool.

Cheiron used a variation of a photo…an x-ray on her card this week. She stamped the skeleton from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Examination set using Alcohol Lift Ink onto a piece of Ranger Yupo paper that had been inked with Pitch Black Alcohol Ink. She used the same stamps and Distress Inks to create her background.

Emma loves using photos on her projects that can tell a story and with Halloween just around the corner, she chose to use an image from Tim Holtz’s Halloween Paper Dolls as the focal point on a Mini Etcetera Tag and placed her gypsy girl on a Web Trim, standing between open gates, created using Sizzix Gatekeepers Thinlits Die by Tim Holtz.

Kath created a birthday card dedicated to the bygone era of photography, the days of black and white photos, Kodak Brownie and Polaroid cameras, way before colour film, digital or phone cameras and selfies. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Inventor 8, Tapestry, Dearly Departed and Simple Sayings, a photo from Idea-ology Found Relatives, Film Strip Ribbon and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Classic Lower and Swirling Stars Thinlits.

Lols used a Lawn Fawn Polaroid Frame Die and popped in a photo of her pup, Jimmy. She decorated a Mini Etcetera Chipboard Tag using a Tim Holtz Paper Pack and a Studio Katia Mini Paws Stencil. She used a Simon Says Stamp Paws Die and Tim Holtz Film Strip Ribbon to finish.

Macarena made a tag with some contrasting colors. She embossed in white the Tim Holtz Specimen stamps set using Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder on a dark grey background.

Maura headed to one of her art journals to share some photos of her grey hair journey. She used Inky Antics Quirky Alphabet and Brave and Good stamps, along with Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember Deco Squares stencil.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the vintage portrait from Tim Holtz Found Relatives and decorated it with Idea-Ology Lace Baseboard Frame and Tim Holtz Keepsakes Ephemera

Sandra made a purple Halloween card using Metallique Paint Plum Preserves as main color. As picture she used a Halloween Paper Doll and gave her a bright purple dress with Distress Crayon Seedless Preserves.

Zoey used Iced Spruce all over this tag! She used it as Distress Oxide Ink, Distress Paint and Distress Ink ! She also used Specimen CMS410 and some items from the Halloween Idea Ology release!

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
