Ann likes beautiful coffee cups, and made a beautiful card using Tim Holtz Sizzix Papercut Cafe Thinlits Dies, Brushstroke Flowers Mini Thinlits Dies, Seal Dies and Switchlits Embossing Folder, and Nature Walk, Mini Blueprints Stamp sets.
Andrea made quote ribbons out of tea bags. She used quotes from Tim Holtz’s Purely Random and Theories stamp sets and had some scribbly fun with Distress Watercolor Pencils (Set 1 and Set 4). She wrapped the ribbons around some cards made with Spellbinders’ Stitched With Love Bobbin Clear Stamp and Die set.
Anna-Karin is fond of fruit and made a card with three pears this week. The pears were stamped with Stamper’s Anonymous Classics #1 set and colored with Prismacolor pencils. The card was inked with a Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink and the sentiment comes from a Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker.
Barbara created two tags with spring colors and chose eggs and carrots as perfect for Easter as food! She chose Halftone and Rings Stamp Set and Layering Stencil Splotches by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous for the background. The bunnies are cut with the Bunny Stitch die by Sizzix, the colors are all Distress Oxide Ink Pad by Ranger Ink.
Cheiron created her card using the Trinity stamp Teacup Blooms stamps and dies. She colored her image with Copic markers and placed it on a simple background colored with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
Kath made a card to celebrate the iconic British tradition of Afternoon Tea, a special treat especially when shared with friends. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils from Sets 3 and 6, Idea-ology Palette Ephemera, Photobooth and Heart Adornment.
Macarena made a salted sweet card using Tim Holtz Beer Blueprints stamp set and watercoloring the pretzels with Distress Oxide Inks. For the embellishment she used Simon Says Stamp Tropical Leaf Bunch die and Prima Marketing Find Me Always French Blue Flowers.
Maura loves a good cup of coffee, so she created an art journal page celebrating her morning cuppa. The Simon Says Stamp coffee themed trio of Pawsitively Saturated inks – Latte, Cappuccino and Mocha just begged to be used on her page. She also used Stamperia’s Coffee and Chocolate papers and tried out Dina Wakleys new Gloss Medium Droppers.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps FRESHLY BREWED BLUEPRINT on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology STITCHED SCRAPS Embellishments and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
