Welcome back to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Wheels Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to add some:

SPARKLE AND SHINE

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! Rox used a Tim Holtz Roses Texture Fade 3D Embossing Folder, embossed onto Black Cardstock, layered onto a Gold Metallic border and machine stitched around the edge. She blended Simon Hurley’s Gold Lunar Paste over the raised surfaces and splattered with Distress Mica Stain, she then added a sticker sentiment to finish. 

Andrea used stars in her background and a sparkle sentiment, courtesy of Vicki Boutin’s Warm Wishes patterned paper. She cut out the tag shape using Simon’s Tag Adornments die set and added some lovely stripes and florals from Simple Stories’ Life in Bloom paper pack.

Anna-Karin made a sparkly winter tag. The trees were die cut with Simon Says Stamp Snow Laden Trees from homemade glitter paper and paper painted with shimmery watercolors. She used Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl Colors and Opal Colors to paint both the trees and the background.

Barbara created a tag grunge/vintage style. She used the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Thinlits Dies Scribbly Butterfly, Funky Floral Wreath and Specimen. In the background she chose two Stampers Anonymous stencils: Rosette ( mini version set 30) and Fractured. Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Texture Paste Sparkle Ranger and Idea-ology Kraft Stock Sparkle Classic is the way Barbara makes shine her projects!

Cheiron used some new Simon Says Stamp Be Mine Glitter Cardstock to create her sparkle and shine. She cut the CZ Design Champagne Flute and Little Banners dies to create a festive Valentine card. She finished the card by adding some tiny glittery hearts cut from the Mini Hearts Party dies.

Emma used a Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Facade as the base for her vintage style project, inspired by the Tim Holtz idea-ology quote chip, “Shine Like The Stars”. She used Tim Holtz/Sizzix dies including the Falling Stars Thinlits Die Set to create a background, before adding dimensional gold stars using dies from the Rosette Vault Die Set and the Holiday Vault 2021 set that cascade around the Photomatic image.

Kath created a gift box and matching card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Pillow + Bag and Vault Funky Floral Wreath Thinlits, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Shattered and Handwritten Thoughts and used Distress Rock Candy Glitter and Simon Says Gold Glitter cardstock to add lots of sparkle.

Lols  made a card using a Tim Holtz Road Trip Colorize Die Set for the main focus. For the background she splattered with Distress Resist and spritzed with Phantom Mist Mica Stain. She used torn Black Cardstock for the road and used a Grunged Cling Stamp and Brutus Monroe Sterling Sparkle Embossing Powder. She finished with a couple of Tim Holtz Celebration Colorize Balloons.

Macarena made a colorful tag using for the background leftovers from cutting Tim Holtz Sizzix Artsy Leaves. She built up the composition using Tim Holtz Sizzix Feather Friends and Brushstroke Flowers2 dies. The shine derives from Tim Holtz Distress Specimen Mica Stain covering the background panel.

Maura created a trio of sparkly ATC’s using Paper Rose’s Abstract Trees die,, added shine with Simon Says Stamp Holographic Rainbow cardstock, and sparkle with Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Confetti.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Memory Box MAJESTIC HUES GLITTER 6×6 Paper Pack on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix GEO CHRISTMAS Thinlits Dies and Simon Says Stamp Cozy Wishes Wafer Dies.

Zoey used some Tim Holtz and Sizzix Dies (Butterfly – Alphabet) that are from the Vault release. She also used Distress Paint and some stencils for her background.
