Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the  Anything But A Card Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are thinking planes, trains, automobiles, boats, bicycles, hot air balloons etc with the theme:

Transport It

Chris made a trio of wall hangings to give her sons using a bicycle made for 3 from a Tim Holtz Anonymous Theories Stamp Set. These are a step back in time to when her boys were young. She also used papers from a Lost and Found Paper Pack and ALL &Create Stencils for the backgrounds

Andrea made a zippered pouch to transport her pens in.  She used Dina Wakley’s Giant Funky Silhouettes stencil and even made a zipper charm using Shrink Film and a Meow Mix stamp by The Ink Road.

Anna-Karin was in the mood for some scenic stamping, and made a card featuring a train travelling through a desert landscape. The train comes from Tim Holtz’s On The Railroad set and was stamped on Specialty Stamping paper and inked with Distress Inks.

Barbara has organized a trip to Copenhagen for her summer vacation! She created a mini album to keep her  memories with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Chronicle Worn CoverTim Holtz Sizzix Cityscape MetropolisTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Air TravelTim Holtz Sizzix Deco  Alpha.

Cheiron created a card inspiring a friend to travel. She used the Sizzix Globe Mini Thinlits die as the focal point of her card, along with a Quote Chip, and some Idea-ology Stars Adornments.

 

Emma’s project transports you to a tropical paradise. She used a medium sized Etcetera Tag as her base which she covered with papers from the Correspondence Paper Stash before adding layers of embellishments and handmade blooms die cut using the Tim Holtz Tropical Thinlits die from Sizzix.

Kath created a transport theme canvas using Tim Holtz Dapper Paper Stash, Idea-ology Expedition Ephemera, Paper Dolls and Tim Holtz Sizzix Alphanumeric and Gearhead Thinlits

Lols made a card using a Tim Holtz Cityscape Commute and Globe Die Sets For the background she used new Stacked Deckle Die Set and Distress Oxide Inks along with Layering Stencils and White Embossing Paste.

Macarena built a future transport hybrid. She stamped and embossed Simon Says Stamp Good Reading stamp as a background and Tim Holtz Theories as a central point. She added a big hot air balloon from Tim Holtz Remnants and covered it with Rock Candy Crackle Paint.

 

Maura took a trip back in time on her tag to the days milk was delivered right to your door. She used Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Theories and Mini Crazy Cats and Dogs, along with Tim Holtz Distress Resist Spray and Distress Oxide inks like Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral.

 

 

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Sizzix 3D Foundry Texture Fades Embossing Folder for the texture on the background and decorated it with the images using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Travel Ways.

Sandra went for the Hot Air Balloon from the Remnants stamp set for her transportation card. She created her background with yellow, orange and pink tones of Distress Oxides and also colored in the balloon with it.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint in Barn Door , Fired Brick and Vintage Photo to color the background of this Encouragement card – She also used Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Postale Tissue Wrap paper and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamp Air Travels that are perfect for this week’s theme
