Anita made a thank-you art journal spread using acrylic paints with Dyan Reaveley Dylusions Dyalog Ranger Border It Stencil for the background. For the focal leaves, she used Lawn Fawn Stitched Poinsettia Die Cuts, and for the sentiment, Simon Says Thoughtful Messages Clear Stamps.
Andrea created a gratitude tag using Art by Marlene’s Funky Tags. She made the sentiment using Darkroom Door’s Ransom Alphabet stamp set. She used a Seth Apter Paper Artsy EM77 stamp and AALL & Create’s Poets washi tape to give the background some pep.
Anna-Karin made four gift tags for this week’s challenge. She used Simon Says Stamp Label Tags to die cut the tags. The background was embossed in Simon Says Stamp Wistful Leaves embossing folder. Both of these products are included in the Simon Says Stamp Cozy Autumn Hugs November Card Kit.
Barbara created a card using her favorite color palette made of bright and warm shades!
She used two dies by Tim Holtz Sizzix: Artsy Leaves Thinlits dies and Holiday Blocks Thinlits Dies. The sentiment is part of Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Note Quotes stamps set.
Cheiron created a thank you card using Thanksgiving-ish colors. She ink blended Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge and Iced Spruce over the Simon Says Stamp Twining Berries Embossing Folder. She added gold and white splatter then added the Privet Branch die cut and finished her card with the Fancy Thanks die.
Emma’s Etcetera Tag uses a combination of new and old dies from Tim Holtz and Sizzix, including Feathered Friends and Artsy Leaves. She nestled her little birdie who is dropping in to say thank you, amongst the leaves and added them to a background that uses Tim’s Distress Spray Stains, Mica Sprays and Translucent Grit Paste, applied through the Stampers Anonymous Rosette Layering Stencil.
Kath returned to her Dylusions Small Creative Journal this week to create a Thankful Art Journal page with an Autumn colour palette using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Leaf Fragments and Alphanumeric Stretch Upper Thinlits, Idea-ology Backdrops Volume 2, Urban Layers, Transparent Layers and Transparent Things.
Macarena made a very layered and dimensional card using for the background a cardboard leftovers from Tim Holtz Sizzix Heartfelt BigZ die. She covered it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Typeset Collage Paper. The composition was built with Altenew Rounded Rectangles dies.
Maura used the Simon Says Stamp Autumn Cascade stencil , Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks like Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey, and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Stitches stamps to create an art journal page on thankfulness.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia SEA LAND 12×12 Paper on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology PAPER DOLLS PORTRAITS and Tim Holtz Sizzix FALL FOLIAGE Thinlits Die.
Zoey used Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Berry Leaves to create texture in her background. She also used Distress Ink + Distress Spray to add color. For the cluster she used Tim Holtz Paper Portraits and Sizzix leaves taken from Modern Festive and Modern Floristry
