Natasha’s project for this week is inspired by some new Transparent Idea-Ology. She used a Tim Holtz Stencil Layering Stencil Brush Arch and used Texture Paste and Distress Crayons to add texture and used Picket Fence Paper Glaze for added shine. She used a variety of Tim Holtz Transparent Things 2Collage Strips, and Transparent Layers. For the background she used a  Simon Says Stamp Old Letter Stamp and she finished with a Sizzix 3D Butterfly Impresslits butterfly for the focal point.

Anna-Karin made a clear card this week, inspired by a Tim Holtz idea-ology Transparent Layers. The tag on the inside of the card was die cut with Tim Holtz Framed Tags and the sentiment is an idea-ology Quote Chips Label.

Barbara made a trio of tags using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Transparent Layers and Idea-Ology Transparent Things 2. In her backgrounds, she choose a variety of transparency elements: Ranger Distress Crackle Paste in the blue tag, Embossing Powder Clear in the Green tag. To complete her project she added Idea-ology Solos Paper Dolls and Idea-ology Quote Chips Labels

Cheiron created a mixed media tag using Transparent Things as a focal point. She added Distress Paints, Gesso and Distress Stains as a base layer to her tag. She combined layers from the Palette Ephemera Pack, along with Idea-ology Organic Layers and a Small Talk Sticker.

Kath created Summer Shaker Cards using 49andMarket Spectrum Gardenia Painted Foundations 6″ x 8″ papers and Botanical Rub-On Transfer Set, Simon Says Acetate, Dogwood Bleeding Heart Cling Stamp and Flower Happy for the sentiments.

Macarena made a wedding card for a couple – Italy lovers so she colored the background as an italian flag using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness and Candied Apple inks. She covered the strong colors with Studio Light Acetate sheet.

Maura made a mermaid charm to clip on to her beach bag. She used Simon Says Stamp’s Be a Mermaid stamp set, and Simon Says Stamp’s Shrink Sheets to create her clear mermaid tails.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology BASEBOARDS WINDOW FRAME and Simon Says Stamp Premium Heat Resistant CLEAR ACETATE SHEET as the clear glass.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Film strip ribbon to decorate her cluster. She also used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Photomatic and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Design tape trims to add more to the cluster. For the background she used Tim Holtz layering stencil and Distress Paint to add color

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
