Cassie used Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils to paint the flowers and leaves on her card. She used Dina Wakley: Just What to Say, Scribbly Flowers and Textures Stamp Sets. There’s some Dina Wakley Washi Tape peeking out from behind the flowers.
Anna-Karin made an art journal page this week using the Simon Says Stamp Peony Background from the new Dear Friend release. The flowers were colored with the Zig Kuretake Katsushika Hokusai Historic Art Collection set.
Barbara used Distress Ink Pads as if they were watercolors to make a trio of very vibrant tags and cards, playing with colors and contrasting them with black and white. Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous’ Floral Trims stamp is the main focus of her project! To complete he added various phrases from the Tiny Text, Perspective stamps sets and Idea-ology Theories Quote Chips.
Cheiron used Distress Watercolor Pencils along with the Tim Holtz Floral Trims stamps. She added shading using her Detailer Waterbrush to blend the color. She used some of her pencil shavings that she keeps in her Mini Archival Ink storage tin to add a creamy color wash to the background and then stamped her sentiment using the Note Quotes stamps.
Emma used Distress Watercolour Pencils to watercolour the Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz Floral Trim stamp set that was used to create backgrounds for a set of Mini Motivational Pocket Cards, die cut using Sizzix Collector Thinlits Die Set Tim Holtz. She completed each set by adding a positive message using the Note Quotes stamp set.
Kath made a card inspired by the profusion of poppies in her garden using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Floral Trims, water colored with Distress Ink Re-inkers, Note Quotes for the sentiment and decorated with Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Long Fasteners and Transparent Wings.
Maura had fun creating an undersea watercolor scene using Daniel Smith Watercolors like Quinacridone Pink and Phthalo Turquoise. The Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail Scissors worked great to cut out her sea creatures.
Meihsia was inspired to create a watercolored tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Howdy on the background, colored it with Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush and added sentiments using Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book.
Zoey used a combination of Tim Holtz Stams for her background Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps The Inspector and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Dearly Departed. Then she used Gina K Designs Fine Detail Gold Embossing Powder with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Floral Trims. To add color she used a mix of Distress Oxide Spray, Distress Spray Stain and as finish touch Distress Mica Sprays on the top.
