It’s Debbie’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Debbie loves all of the nostalgic memories associated with Christmas and sleds. She chose Tim Holtz’s Vintage Sled die as the focal point for her 3D collage project and used Christmas Ephemera, she distressed the edges with Walnut Distress Ink.

Andrea made a Christmas card using Julie Hickey Designs‘ Essentially Christmas 3 stamp set. She added a sentiment using Tim Holtz’s Seasonal Scribbles stamp set and added some dimensional foliage to her wreath using Memory Box’s Layered Stars dies.

Anna-Karin made a winter wonderland Christmas card using Simon Says Stamp Forest Scenery stamp set. The background was painted with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl watercolors and the sentiment from STAMPtember® Simon Says Stamp Elegantly Modern Christmas was white embossed on vellum.

Barbara made two tags with Tim Holtz stamps and dies and one of her favorite color palettes for Christmas! She used Stampers Anonymous Festive Print CMS474, Moon Mask Stencil and Layering Stencil Twinkle. For the tree, she used Sizzix Trim a Tree Colorize Thinlits Dies. The colors are all from the Ranger Distress family: Cracked Pistachio Spray Stain, Frosty Mint, Merry Mint, and Cocktail Party Mica Stains.

Cheiron created a rainbow tree lot using the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Trim a Tree dies. She used the Stampers Anonymous Winter Woodlands stamps to create her background and embossed her background panels with Pumice Stone Distress Embossing Glaze. She colored her trees using Distress Mica Stains and placed them on a Medium Etcetera Tag and created a ground using Snowfall Grit Paste.

Emma is celebrating the happiest season of them all and used a Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Panel as the base for her Christmas scene. She used Christmas idea-ology products, including the Backdrop papers, a paper doll and some Christmas Ephemera and combined these with the Sizzix/Tim Holtz Vintage Sled and Holiday Brushstrokes 3 dies. She completed the project with a dusting of Mica Flakes for added sparkle.

Kath is cracking on with her Christmas makes and has decorated gift bags using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Pine Branches 3d Texture Fade, Vintage Sled, Santa Greetings Colorize and Scribbly Snowflakes Thinlits and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Christmas Cartoons for the speech bubble sentiments.

Macarena keep using her favorite purple color even on a Christmas card. She built the tree with Tim Holtz Sizzix Artsy Leaves dies and embellished it with Christmas balls made with Tim Holtz Sizzix Layered dots die. For both she used Tim Holtz Ranger Mica Distress Stains.

Maura made a simple snowman tag using Tim Holtz’s Half Tone Christmas and Bold Tidings 1 stamp sets. I added a little sparkle and shine with Simon Says Stamp’s Clear Detail Embossing Powder and Crafter’s Companion Violet Studios Glitter Gel Pens.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Backdrops on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Layer Frames and Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2023 Christmas Confections.

Zoey used the wonderful Tim Holtz Sizzix Trim a Tree die as main focal point of her tag. The background is made with Distress Oxide Ink + Distress Mica Stain and she also used Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 57.
The sentiment is from the Stickers Christmas Book.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
