It’s Pauline’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Pauline created a card using AALL & Create Through the Meadows stamp set for the image and Textured Florals for the sentiment, and Tim Holtz Dot Fade stencil. Stamping was done with a mix of Versafine Clair (including Nocturne and Charming Pink) and Versamark embossing ink, then heat embossed. The background was created with Distress Oxide inks (Spiced MarmaladePicked RaspberryBlack Soot, and Hickory Smoke for the stencilling). The butterfly was coloured with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Galaxy gel pen, and sparkle added to the image with Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen.

Andrea sketched out a notebook cover to test out Spectrum Noir’s Triblend markers. She added stenciled pattern details using Altenew’s Halftone stencil and Simon Says Stamps Falling Stars stencil.

Anna-Karin made an art journal page using various stencils together with texture paste, paint and Crafter’s Companion Colorista Paint Pens. The blue text comes from Dina Wakley’s Mantras stencil and the circles were made with Simon Says Stamp Mix and Match Circles stencil.

Barbara created an Etcetera tag using a lot of the new Idea-Ology packs for her background. She chose two stencils by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, Roses and Mini Stencil Set 6 (Hearts) together with Ranger Distress Crackle Paste Opaque and various Embossing Glazes.

Cheiron created a tag using her favorite Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Dotted Stencil. She applied a layer of Typeset Collage Paper, Distress Texture Paste through the Dotted stencil, and then applied a rainbow of Distress Spray stains. She finished her tag with some Snippets, a stamped Flutter image and an Idea-ology Label Sticker.

Emma used Distress Grit Paste through the Stampers Anonymous Polkadot Layering Stencil by Tim Holtz to create a textured background for her Easter Etcetera tag. She then stamped a focal point for her project using the Hipster Bunny stamp set before arranging die cut Funky Floral 3 foliage around his cute little face.

Kath used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Flourish, Script and Markings Mini Layering Stencils to create the backgrounds on her cards and decorated with Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Photographic and Palette Collage Papers, Transparent Layers and Quote Chip Labels.

Macarena made a set of 2 cards with a Spring flowers on them. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Brushstroke Flowers 2 and Funky Nature dies. She embellished the composition with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metallic Droplets in silver and gold.

Maura headed to her Dylusions Creative Journal to reminisce about friendships through time. She used Darkroom Door’s Friendship stencil, Tim Holtz’s Snapshots Volume 2, and a Studio Light Fantasy tag.

Meihsia was inspired to create a spring tag using Tim Holtz Clear Stamps and Stencil HIPSTER BUNNY on the background, and embellished the tag with a cute bunny from Simon Says Clear Stamps Easter Critters then colored it using Zig Clean Color 30 COLOR SET A Real Brush.

Zoey used some of the new Ideaology items to decorate her project. She used Transparent Layers as the base of the project. She decorated the background with Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 9 and a bit of crackle paste. She also used Quote Chip Labels, Organic Layers and Photomatic to decorate and the Large Fasteners were the perfect final touch!

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
