It’s Laura’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Laura made a set of ATC’s series using a Simon Says Stamp XOXO Background Cling Stamp and a Pattern Swatches Clear Stamp Set along with Distress Oxide Inks. The butterflies are from a Carabelle Studio Stamp Set.

Laura also made a card using a Tim Holtz Scribbly Butterflies Die Set, a Gel Press printed background and a Tim Holtz Tree Rings 3-D Embossing Folder.

Andrea added wings to this quirky little character from Carabelle Studio’s Head and Shoulders stamp set, which she colored with Copic markers in shades like Nile Blue and Coral Sea Blue Green. The tag was cut with Waffle Flower’s Nested Tags die set and the background was made with Mama Elephant’s Globies Grid Cover die.

Anna-Karin made a tag this week with three dimensional butterflies. The butterflies were die cut from Simon Says Stamp Clear Acetate Sheets with Simon Says Stamp Graceful Butterfly Set and dry embossed in the coordinating embossing folder.

Barbara this week decided to continue her Journal and created a vintage style page using many different Tim Holtz Idea-Ology packs: Paper Dolls Portraits, Field Notes Snippets Ephemera, Backdrops Volume 1, Tim Holtz Sizzix Specimen Thilits dies and
Crochet Thinlits Dies.

Cheiron created an Alcohol Inked butterfly on Dura Bright Black using the Tim Holtz Perspective Butterfly die. She colored it with Snow Cap Mixative, Fiesta, Sunshine Yellow and Valencia Alcohol Inks and some Gided Alloy. To finish her card she added Gilded Foundry Wax Splatter and a sticker from the Sentiments Label Stickers.

Emma created specimen envelopes and slide folders using the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Collector and Specimen Die Sets. She created inked backgrounds for each piece using a combination of Tim’s stamps and stencils, including the Plus Layering Stencil, and the Mini Glitch stamp set, before adding her ‘things with wings’ focal points, the idea-ology Entomology Adornments, painted with alcohol inks.

Kath has been giving some love to some favourite products she hasn’t used for a while and is sharing a set of encouragement cards using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Grime Mini Layering Stencil from Set 43, Flutter (her things with wings) and Field Notes stamp sets and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Funky Nature Thinlits coloured with Distress Watercolor Pencils.

Lols made a card using a fun Katzelkraft Les Zoisos Rubber Stamp Set. I colored the bird colored with Zig Real Brush Markers, and used a Barrière Stamp Set, colored with Walnut Stain Distress Ink for the fence. For the background she used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks along with Dot Fade and Schoolhouse Layering Stencils. For the sentiment she used a Katzelkraft Ataraxia Quotes Stamp Set.

Macarena made a steampunk card with a mechanical ladybug from Carabelle Studio A Ladybug’s Dream stamp set. She built up the background with Tim Holtz Inventor 7 stamps and gave a shiny touch with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Halloween Pearl Droplets.

Maura made a duo of ATC’s using the Raven from Tim Holtz Sizzix Halloween 2021 dies, Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail Scissors to cut out paper circles, and Daniel Smith Watercolors like Quinacridone Pink.

Meihsia was inspired to create a watercolored bookmark using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps ECLECTIC ADVERTS on the background, then decorated it with owls cut from Stamperia ALCHEMY 12×12 Paper and added sentiments from Tim Holtz Idea-ology METALLIC Sticker Book.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
