Rox went to Paris using Uncharted Mariner Oxide Ink and a Tim Holtz Cityscapes Stamp. She used Distress Oxide Inks to create a sunset background and a Moon Mask Stencil to create a sun. She used Eccentric and I See Paris Cling Stamp Sets to finish. Rox also made an envelope to match.
Andrea loved watching slide shows of her family’s vacation photos when she was little, so she incorporated a slide-shaped die (from Sizzix’s Specimen die set) for her notebook cover. She also used Prima watercolors, Dina Wakley’s Scribble Sticks 2 and Tim Holtz’s Media Marks 2 stamp set.
Anna-Karin took a trip to the sea in her art journal. The focal piece was stamped with Simon Says Stamp Mother Earth and colored with Distress Inks. She worked in Dina Wakley’s White Journal.
Emma‘s vintage style etcetera tag is all about seeing the world. She used a Journal Card to create a map background, and then sat a paper doll on a pile of colourful suitcases that were die cut using one of her favourite Tim Holtz dies from Sizzix, Baggage Claim. To complete the tag she added Snippets Ephemera and Remnant Rubs.
Kath created an art panel inspired by many wonderful trips to New York using Dina Wakley Media Board, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Destination, Collector and Alphanumeric Theory Thinlits, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Ticket Booth, Idea-ology Collage Paper, Remnant Rubs and Curator Ephemera Snippets.
Macarena is all packed up with Tim Holtz Sizzix Baggage Claim suitcases and ready to go anywhere on the Tim Holtz Sizzix Destination globe. She stamped the background with Tim Holtz Halftone and Rings and embossed it with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder Fine Detail.
Lols made a card using a Tim Holtz Gladys Colorize Die Set. For the background she used a new Simon Says Stamp Surf and Sand Stencil
Maura shares the joy of a staycation in her art journal. She recreated a view from her deck, using the Simon Says Stamp Adirondack Chair die and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mod Cactus stamp set.
Meihsia was inspired to create an art journal page using Royal Langnickel ZEN WATERCOLOR BRUSH Set and Zig PORTABLE GANSAI TAMBI 14 Colors Travel Watercolor Set on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps AIR TRAVEL and Tim Holtz Idea-ology REMNANT RUBS LABELED.
Zoey used Tim Holtz Sizzix Modern Floristry, Stacked Hearts and Silhouette Birds to decorate the tag. For the background she used Flourish Layering Stencil with some Crackle Paste trough it. She also made a video on how she made this card, you can find it here.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
