It’s Susan’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Susan created a card with the big and beautiful Simon Says Stamp Peonies and Leaves stencil. She used the stencil with Distress Oxide inks and Gina K’s Glitz Glitter Gel for an iridescent rainbow. She completed the card with Altenew’s Fancy For You sentiment die.

Andrea made a card using Altenew’s Bubble Wrap stencil and Carabelle Studio’s Fairy Town stamps. She was also to try out some new products from Dina Wakley: Fir, Sage and Rouge paint and Typed Media Ledgers, Set 1.

Anna-Karin made a cheerful card today, using the Simon Says Stamp Mix and Match Circles Stencil to create the background. The inking was done with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

Barbara created a tag using Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Mini Stencil Set 3 (bricks) and Dearly Departed stamp set. To colorize her project she used the new Ranger Ink Embossing Glazes and the new Mini Archival Ink Set 5.

Cheiron used one of her favorite stencils, the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Floral Layering stencil along with Distress Texture Paste to create a background for her tag. She added Distress Paint over the Texture Paste in Saltwater Taffy and Rustic Wilderness. She finished her tag with some Photobooth and Small Chat stickers.

Emma combined three Stampers Anonymous Layering Stencils by Tim Holtz ~ Mosaic, Digits and Script to create a textured background on her Mini Etcetera Tag make. She completed her tag with a Solo Paper Doll sitting on metal idea-ology Industrial Gears and Mechanical die cut gears.

Kath made a card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Lovestruck Colorize Thinlits, Damask and Quilted 3D Texture Fade Embossing Folders, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Layering Stencils from Set 6 to add interest to the background and Simon Says Love die for the sentiment.

Macarena made a layered card using 3 different stencils: Prima Marketing Oriental Wall and Iris Tapestry and Simon Says Stamp Geometric Arcs.

Maura used three stencils from Simon Says Stamp – Leaves, Flora and In the Round, in her Dina Wakley White Media Journal.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Simon Says Stamp Stencil Leafy Frame Sending Sunshine on the background and decorated it with Simon Says Stamp Dotted Heart Wafer Die To the Moon and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Industrial Gears Embellishment.

Sandra made a colorful card using Distress Spray Stain Rusty HingeSpeckled Egg and Distress Oxide Spray Speckled Egg, along with Infusions Rusty Car and Sleight Blue for some depth. As for stencils, she chose Dot Fade and Stitches, so much fun to layer with them.

Zoey used a combination of Tim Holtz Mini Stencil SET 9 and SET 49. She also used Tim Holtz Sizzix DOILY 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder to add some texture to the tag. She used Distress Paint and Distress Inks to add color. Ideaology is always the perfect way to decorate a grungy tag!

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
