Estelle transformed a wooden articulated mannequin into a piece of art. She used Tim Holtz Funky Insects and Feathered Friends Dies along with  Ranger Opaque Crackle Texture Paste. She added Prima Marketing Birds and Bats using a Finnabair Decor Mould and finished with Tarnished Brass  Distress Crayon and some Tim Holtz Distress Collage Medium Matte to glue all the elements together.

Andrea made a tag featuring a fine feathered friend from Dina Wakley’s Nested Birds stamp set. The tag was cut using Tim Holtz’s Tag Collection Framelits dies and Andrea also used Tim’s Remnants stamp set for a background technique.

Anna-Karin made a tag with three dimensional insects. They were die cut using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Insects set, from Ranger Mixed Media Heavystock paper and Wendy Vecchi Clearly For Art Modeling Film.

Barbara this week was inspired by Tim Holtz Sizzix Geo Insects Thinlits dies. To create the background of her tag she used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stencil Honeycomb, Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Resist Spray, Tim Holtz Sizzix Stacked Tiles Hexagons. To give a touch of sparkle she added Cosmic Shimmer Summer Meadow Gilding Flakes.

Cheiron used the big butterfly from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Specimen set as the focal point of her card. She placed it over a rainbow background of Distress Paints, stamping Media Marks 1 and 2 stamps using Distress Archival Inks and a bit of Distress Matte Texture Paste through the stars stencil from the Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set #11 and embossed with Fossilized Amber Distress Embossing Glaze. She finished her card with a small talk sticker.

Emma was inspired by the gorgeous butterfly from the Stampers Anonymous Specimen stamp set by Tim Holtz and created a themed Size 8 Etcetera Tag. She used Distress Spray Stains to create the background and added texture by applying Translucent Grit Paste through the Floral Mini Layering Stencil before layering the butterfly on Backdrops paper rolls.

Kath created a butterfly themed Art Journal Page using Simple Stories Vintage Weathered Garden Paper Pad, Bits and Pieces and Foam Stickers, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Glitch, Mini Mosaic Layering Stencil, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Alphanumeric Stretch Lower Thinlits and Idea-ology Small Talk Stickers.

Lols  made a card using a new Simon Says Stamp Layered Owl Die Set and Blossom Field Embossing Folder for the background. She spritzed and splattered a variety of inks and added a few branches, wooden hearts and Tim Holtz Small Talk Stickers to finish.

Macarena made a colorful card with a ladybugs family going somewhere. She used Tim Holtz Specimen, Entomology and Dearly departed stamp sets. She applied Prima Marketing Oriental Wall stencil on the background as a watercolor stamping.

Maura sent three boys on a nature adventure in her art journal this week. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix Funky Insects dies and Tim’s Groups Paper Dolls, along with lots of paints from Dina Wakley like Umber and Cheddar.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using a Prima Marketing Owl Redesign Decor Transfer. She used a Tim Holtz Birch Layering Stencil and Dina Wakley Media Speak Out Chipboard Shapes for the background.

Sandra loves the Entomology stamp set and had to use it, along with the Shaker Dome. She chose neutral colors like Distress Oxide Antique LinenHickory Smoke and Black Soot for her background, and Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold for a little sparkle .

Zoey used as always a mix of Distress Paint, Distress Oxide and Distress Ink to add color to her tag. For the background she collage bunch of Ideaology Ephemera, Tim Holtz Idea-ology LAYERS REMNANTS, Tim Holtz Idea-ology BOTANICAL Layers and Tim Holtz Idea-ology COLLECTOR Ephemera Layers, she also used Tim Holtz Idea-ology ROSE Design Tape and Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 1
