Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to:

Dry Emboss

There are many fabulous embossing folders available to purchase, but you can also make your own, or use stencils and dies to emboss too!

Anne used Tim Holtz Elegance, Kaleidoscope and Engraved 3D embossing folders along with a 3D Butterfly Impresslits Folder to create a mini journal to keep notes in.’

Andrea used a “faux dry embossing technique” using Tim Holtz’s Cutout Upper Thinlits dies, the Sizzix Big Shot, and some lovely Dina Wakley Gloss Spray in Night, Blackberry, and Mineral to make her card.

Anna-Karin made an art journal page with a butterfly theme. Tim Holtz Backdrops paper was dry embossed with the Simon Says Stamp Blossom Field folder. The quote comes from Simon Says Stamp Thoughtful Flowers.

Barbara has started her Halloween production! She made an Etcetera tag Small using two Tim Holtz Sizzix Lumber and Brickwork 3D embossing folders. She added the flowers from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous set Dearly Departed. She created various textures with the new Tim Holtz Ranger Paste Grave (Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste set) and Crackle Texture Paste. Idea-ology Creepy eyes are the final touch!

Cheiron used one of her favorite Simon Says Stamp Embossing folders, Tumbled Hexagons to dry emboss a background for her card. She colored with a rainbow of Distress Inks and finished the card with the CZ Designs Swoopy Oh Crap die and a Craptastic sentiment strip.

Kath created 2 Autumn themed cards for the price of one using panels of Distress White and Kraft Heavy Stock embossed with Tim Holtz Foliage 3D Texture Fades and coloured with Distress Oxide Inks and Halloween Mica Sprays. She die-cut the other 2 panels with Tim Holtz Countryside Thinlits and used the waste pop-outs to decorate her cards. She added Simon Says Stamp Welcome die cut sentiments.

Lols  made a card using a Tim Holtz Bricked Layering stencil to emboss the background. She used Hickory Smoke, Candied Apple and Spiced Marmalade inks and sprinkled Paper Artsy Sunset Beach Infusions. She used Katzelkraft Les Chats Russes and KTZ 205 Balloons rubber stamps and finished with a Tim Holtz Label Sticker.

Macarena made an encouragement card for her friend using Tim Holtz Sizzix Mechanicals 3D embossing folder as a base panel. She decided to put the fabulous brain from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Weird Science stamp set and just give it some brown shades.

Maura made a set of embossed cards using Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Butterfly Impresslit and Kaleidoscope embossing folder.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Interwined 3 D Texture Fades Embossing Folder for the texture on the background, and decorated it with AALL & Create Basic Veggies Clear Stamp Set and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Lace Baseboard Frame.

Sandra made a pink card using Opal Magic Rose Gold and Infusions Sunset Beach, she gave her Paper Doll wings with the Winged Impresslit. 

Zoey used the new released Tim Holtz dies Toil And Trouble and Mini Foundry 3D Texture Fade Embossing Folder to decorate this tag. She also used Tim’s new Tim Holtz Distress MICA STAIN SET 2 Ranger tshk77442 to add color and Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste Matte to create texture around the coulderon.
