Estelle made the cover of her children’s book, titled “Oliver Over The Seasons’ using a new Tim Holtz Oliver Die Set. She used glitter embossing powder on the Tim Holtz HeartsFeltDistress Embossing Glaze and Distress Texture Paste Matte used with a Tim Holtz Floral Stencil. She used an Intertwined 3D Embossing Folder to add texture to the basket. Pop over to Estelle’s blog to see the bunny actually hop!

Anna-Karin was inspired by the very cold weather to create a snowflake card with lots of texture. She used the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Filigree Snowflakes Embossing Folder and the Eliza Snowflake die. The background was done with Distress Inks.

Barbara has added different textures to her Etcetera tag: Distress Grit Paste paste through the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Layering Stencil Stone and May Arts Natural Twine String. She chose new Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildflower Stems 3 Thinlits Dies as the focal point, she colored the flowers and the tag below them with various Distress Oxide Ink Pads.

Cheiron created a card with a background using Distress Inks, Distress Oxides and the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Faded Type stamps. She created texture by adding Matte Distress Texture Paste through the Dot Fade Stencil. She layered die cuts using the Perspective Butterfly and added a sentiment from Life Quotes.

Emma added plenty of texture to her Mini Clipboard by applying Tim Holtz Crackle Paste through the Bouquet Layering Stencil to create the background for her project, together with a crackle paste border and a rusty crusty clip, altered with Translucent Distress Grit Paste and Distress Paints. She completed the board with the beautiful Stampers Anonymous Specimen stamp set by Tim Holtz.

Kath is so happy to see the daffodils and crocuses poking their heads through the snow, a sure sign that Spring isn’t far away. With that in mind, she created an Art Journal page dedicated to her garden and used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Typewriter 3d Texture Fade and Distress Grit Paste applied through the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bubble Mini Layering Stencil from Set 5 to add texture and decorated with an Idea-ology Lace Baseboard Frame and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Funky Nature, Small Tattered Florals, Alphanumeric Stretch Lower and Numbers and Alphanumeric Bold Thinlits.

Lols  used a variety of Distress Oxide Inks for the background and then used a Tim Holtz Leafy Layering Stencil and Modeling Paste, colored with Rustic Wilderness Ink, to add the texture. She used new Tim Holtz Oliver Colorize and Funky Trees Die Sets to make this Happy Easter card.

Macarena made a travel/nautical card kept in deep blue shades with a shiny silver world map from Tim Holtz Sizzix Destination die. She gave a texture to the background using Sunny Studio Cable Knit Embossing folder and Distress Grit Paste.

Maura added texture to her Dylusions Creative Flip Journal page, with Creative Expressions Fly Free stencil, Emerald Creek Chunky Rust Embossing Powder, and Daniel Smith Pearlescent White watercolor.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Distress Texture Paste for the texture on the background and decorated it with a stamped image using Carabelle Studio Elsie Cling Stamp.

Sandra added lots of texture with the Prima Moulds Cogs and WingsStars and MoonsMechanica, but also with the Digits stencil and Texture Paste. For color she used Opal Magic Paint Blue-Gold.

Zoey used the new Tim Holtz Kitsch Flamingo Distress Spray Stain to add some bright color to this tag. She also used Gesso and Distress Grit Paste to add texture. She then added Tim Holtz Halloween Trimmings and stitches to add more interest to the tag

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
