It’s Sandra’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)

Sandra made a beautiful Easter gift box that can be filled with sweets or small presents. She used a Tim Holtz Distress Damask Cling Stamp Set for the background and used a  Bloom Colorize Die Set for the decoration.

Anna-Karin made a sweet Easter card this week, using no-line coloring with Distress Inks. The stamps come from the cute Simon Says Stamp Bunny Blessings set.

Cheiron created a fun bunny tag to go with a bag of candy carrots for a friend using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Carrot Bunny and the Intertwined 3D Texture Fade. She added some Opaque Grit Paste to her tag and finished it with an Idea-ology Sentiments Label Sticker.

Emma is feeling that spring is in the air and she made a wallhanging for Easter. She created a floral background, stamped using the Stampers Anonymous Vine & Roses stamp set before adding Sizzix Mr Rabbit Bigz die by Tim Holtz, surrounded by Funky Nature foliage and a Funky Toadstool.

Kath has been busy making Easter treat bags for family and friends. She created a monoprint panel using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Flourish Layering Stencil with Distress Spray Stains and decorated using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mr Rabbit BigZ die and Aphanumeric Bold Thinlits die-cut from Sizzix Felt, Funky Nature Thinlits, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings and Idea-ology Warm Velvet Trims.

Lols  made an Easter wall hanging using a Tim Holtz Mini Etcetera Tag. For the background she used a few Layering Stencils and Distress Inks and then added an Oliver Colorize bunny and some Funky Trees.

Macarena made a bright Spring card using the non-spring Tim Holtz Dearly Departed stamp set and the Tattered Butterfly Bigz die. She used Pumice stone Oxide Spray for the background and butterflies.

Maura has been hearing new bird calls as they return once again, a sure sign of spring! She made a card using Simon Says Stamp’s Spring Bird set, Daniel Smith Phthalo Turquoise watercolor, and Tim Holtz Cracked Pistachio Distress Glaze.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia Paper House of Rose on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Sizzix Typewriter 3D Texture Fades Embossing Folder and Prima Marketing Friends Always My Sweet Flowers.

Sandra had fun creating a butterfly card using the Brickwork 3D embossing folder and make it all grungy against the soft pastel colors in Distress Oxide Squeezed LemonadeSpun SugarCracked Pistachio and Speckled Egg for the Perspective Butterfly stamp.

Zoey used a bunch of Distress Paint to add color to a Distress Mixed Media Heavy Cardstock. She also used Tim Holtz Layering stencil to add texture and Tim Holtz Collage Paper to add some interest to the background.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
