This week we are welcoming the lovely Sandra Rupp aka SR Paper Love   into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Sandra created a beautiful flowery frame. For the background she used several Distress Oxides and used one of her favorite Bouquet Layering Stencils and Distress Texture Paste. For the focus she used a variety of flowersField Notes Ephemera and a Tim Holtz Paper Doll.

Andrea made an artsy tag using Maker’s Movement’s Nested Box Tag Dies and Paper Rose’s Wildflowers 2 Die. She added lots of dots with Altenew’s Many Dots Washi tape and Tim Holtz’s Dotted stencil.

Anna-Karin made a double art journal page with a mixed media background. She layered stencils by Simon Says Stamp, such as the Large Dots and the Circle Dots. Stamping was done with Tim Holtz Ultimate Grunge.

Barbara loves so much to create backgrounds! For this tag, she used Circuit Layering StencilFaceted Heart Die Glitch 1 Stamp SetSnarky Cat Stamp Set, a lot of Distress products, and Perfect Pearl Powder Forever Blue.

Cheiron created a background on her tag using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide along with some of her favorite stencils including Digits and Stitches. She added layers of Ephemera and a Photobooth photo along with a Wildflower Stems 2 Sizzix die cut. She finished her card with Clippings Stickers.

Emma was in her element using the Gradient Hex Layering Stencil, Distress Micro Glaze, Distress Sprays and Oxide Sprays to create the background for her vintage style Etcetera tag project inspired by friendship. She added a Photobooth image, placed in a Geo Frame and surrounded it with die cut Funky Florals 3 foliage.

Lols  made a card using Paper Rose Texture 2 and Stitched Eucalyptus Dies. For the background she used White Yupo Paper and Dandelion, Coral and Sublime Pearls Alcohol Inks. While the ink was still puddled in places she applied a layer of Gold Foil and buffed with a Teflon Bone Folder

Macarena made up her background by stamping with Distress Sprays and a bit of water. She stamped the Tim Holtz Faded Type and covered it with Distress Glaze in Cracked Pistachio and Broken China.

Maura made a background for her art journal page with Paper Rose Grunge Textures paper, and Paper Rose’s Hud and Modern Geometric stencils.

Meihsia was inspired to create a thank you card using Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks and Cardstock on the background, and added the sentiment with Paper Rose Inky Antics Paper and CZ Design Extra Large Thank You Wafer Dies on the card.

Sandra made her background with Distress Paints Broken ChinaCracked PistachioWeathered Wood and Vintage Photo, and to add some shimmer to it, she used Metallique Paint Rustic Brown and Stormy Ocean. She used the Hud stencil from Paper Rose with Distress Embossing Glaze Walnut Stain to complete her background.
