It is Autumn’s  last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us! Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for a Happy New Year!

Autumn from SewPaperPaint used Inky Antics Sassy and Saucy stamps with Distress Oxide Sprays and Tim Holtz Dots and Circles and Stitches stamps and Shadow Script 2 dies.

Andrea made a party page in her Dylusions Creative journal. She used some of her favorite stamp sets (Inky Antics’ Write On and Big Bold Borders and Carabelle Studio’s Ronds) to build up the background.

Anna-Karin made an art journal page to celebrate the coming of a new year. She inked rays with Tim Holtz Shifter Rays stencil and Distress Oxide ink and die cut the big SSS Lined You from Silver Glitter Paper and vellum. The journaling was stamped with the Paper Artsy Travels and Journeys set by Alison Bomber.

Barbara created some samples of invitations to the Christmas party with Tim Holtz Sizzix Gift card bagTim Holtz Idea-ology Mini paper Stash ChristmasTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Yuletide GatheringTim Holtz Sizzix Circle Words Christmas and Ranger Ink Stickles Christmas Red.

Cheiron used the Tim Holtz Deck the Halls Colorize Thinlits to create a festive New Year Card by cutting them out of lots of bright Metallic Papers from the Jewels, Confections and Metallic Paper Stash 8 x 8 pads. She finished her card with a sentiment from the Christmastime 2 stamp set, embossed in silver.

Emma created a trio of ideas for her festive table and used a Mini Mason Jar and a Vignette Box covered in papers from the Tim Holtz Christmas Paper Stash to create party favors, together with place name holders that uses the Alphanumeric Label die to personalise each name tag.

Kath created place name cards for her Boxing Day Party table using Simon Says Gnome For The Holidays stamp set and Lil Gnome die with Tim Holtz Ideaology Metallic and Metallic 2 Kraftstock and Alphanumeric Classic Lower Thinlits

Macarena is ready for any party with her colorful card where she used Tim Holtz Wine Blueprints and Simon Says Stamp Party Like a Panda set.

Maura made a cute little Gnomie sticky note holder for all those lists and party notes that pop up at this time of year. She used the Simon Says Stamp Lil Gnome die, Kringle and Co PhotoPlay papers, and added some fun Darice pom poms in Red and White.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Simon Says Clear Stamps Celebrate You for the balloons and decorated it with Prima Marketing Joyful Christmas in the Country Flowers.

Sandra made an invitation to a party and used the Ornate Lace stencil with Texture Paste added color by applying a bit of Opal Magic Paint Yellow Pink and Rose Gold as a base and started building up color with Nuvo Shimmer Powers and Infusions

Zoey used Pentart M2 Metal Flakes and Ranger BIRTHDAY Letter It Stamp Set to create these “New Year’s Party”. She enchanted the beautiful Cheers Stamp with Ranger Embossing Powder GOLD Tinsel . To close the invite she used Tim Holtz Idea-ology INDEX CLIPS Fasteners.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

  1. I’m so confused first I don’t see a winner for the cityscape challenge. Then I’m looking at the challenges and am I correct in seeing both Monday & Wednesday challenge are until January 6th and both are nor party time??

    1. Hi, Jennifer….

You might already have your questions answered, but I will post a reply, just in case. :)
You will find the Winners Post for the Cityscape Challenge right below this one. If you miss seeing past winner posts, there is a link at the bottom of the page that will pull them all up for you.
This Monday challenge ends Jan.6 (or late Jan.5), but the Wednesday challenge ends Jan.1 (or late Dec.31).

They both have the same theme: Party Time. Since these challenges run independently of each other, it is not unusual for them to have the same theme…as they do this time. Hope this helps!

Have fun and Happy New Year!!
