Kerstin was inspired to create a mixed media wooden wall hanger using a Tim Holtz Couldron and Laboratory Dies. She also used Black Gesso, Old Silver Alchemy Wax and Stone Effect Pastes from Prima Marketing.
Andrea made some mini notebooks using Prima Tropical Watercolors, Prima Water Soluble Basics and Rustic Oil Pastels and the Tim Holtz Wildflowers die.
Anna-Karin thought the designs of Tim Holtz’s Layers Remnants cards are so pretty that they would make perfect notebook covers. She made three quick notebooks, embellishing them with Adventure Words Script.
Barbara was inspired by new Tim Holtz’s Halloween dies! She created a Halloween themed Trinket Box with Tim Holtz Sizzix Regions Beyond, Tim Holtz Sizzix Trinket Frames, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mirrored sheet, Tim Holtz Ranger Alcohol ink Mushroom and Pitch Black.
Cheiron created a Vignette Tray and covered the inside with a galaxy background painted with watercolors. She added a Salvaged Baseboard, Photobooth and Quote Chip and finished her project with Tim Holtz Sizzix Radiant and Swirling Star dies.
Emma designed a Halloween project by layering the small and medium Etcetera Tags. As the focal point she used a mask, die cut from the gorgeous new Tim Holtz Masquerade die set and stamped with the lace stamp from the Ornate and Lace Stamp Set.
Kath decorated a white gift bag using Tim Holtz Cauldron Bigz, Handmade BigZ XL dies and Sweet Treats Thinlits from the Sizzix Chapter 3 release to create a “get more bang for your buck from your dies” Birthday treats bag with a Summer Colour Palette using Distress Oxide Re-inkers.
Macarena went a bit shabby romantic with Tim Holtz Etcetera Medium Tag and gave a nice dimension with Prima Marketing Bridgeport Irongate Re-design mould and a texture with Tonic Worn Linen Expanding Mousse through Simon Says Stamp Stencil Extra Large Dots.
Maura made a collage canvas inspired by remembering the moments of summer, using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Photograph ATC, Tim Holtz Gears Layering stencil, and the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Timepiece Clock Faces, along with lots of gears and distress inks.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media canvas with the textured background using Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 39,and embellished it with a vintage portrait from Idea-Ology Found Relatives.
Sandra made a tag using lots of Crackle Texture Paste in the background with the Lattice Stencil, and to give it color she used Nuvo Shimmer Powder Falling Leaves, Atlantis Burst and Green Parade.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
