It’s Natasha’s last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure to have you along with us :-)
Natasha used a Tim Holtz Cobblestone 2 Embossing Folder, Distress Crayons and Picket Fence Paper Glaze to create her background. She then added Idea-Ology and used a Simon Says Stamp Mushroom Stems Die Set as her focal image.
Andrea created a decorative canvas panel. She used some washi tape from AALL & Create Janet Klein Washi Tapes Set and Mix and Match as well as Pretty in Plaid paper from My Favorite Things. The background houses are stamped with AALL & Create’s Our House.
Anna-Karin made a mixed media canvas panel using Tim Holtz idea-ology Photographic Collage Paper. The sentiments come from various sets such as Tim Holtz Stamper’s Anonymous Noble Gent and Tiny Text. The background was painted with Distress Paint.
Barbara decided to use Creative Blocks, the fabulous stamp set from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous, to make the background for her card. She used Vintage Pearl embossing powder to stamp the images and the new Ranger Halloween Mica Stain for coloring. For the focal point, she chose two Tim Holtz die cuts from Sizzix, Stacked Tiles Heart and Winged 3D Impresslits Cut and Emboss Folder and Stacked Tiles Hearts
Cheiron created a card with the buildings from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Christmas Cutouts. She cut a tag from Distress Watercolor Paper and did some ink blending on the background. She also added ink blending to her buildings in rainbow colors of Distress Inks and a sentiment from the Stampers Anonymous Life Quotes set.
Emma used the fabulous new Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Rectangle Etcetera Panels and Mosaic Tiles to create architectural lines on her project. She used a blueprint paper from the Backdrops Vol 1 paper pack and added various idea-ology including Industrial Gears, Ruler Pieces and a Paper Doll Portrait as the focal point.
Kath decorated a Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Rectangles Panel as a gift for a young couple graduating soon as fully qualified architects using Idea-ology Backdrops 2 Paper, Mini Layering Stencils from Set 49, Distress Texture Paste Opaque and Distress Black Texture Paste, Tim Holtz/Sizzix City Metropolis Thinlits, Idea-ology Theories Quote Chips and Trinity Stamps Candy Apple Heart Sprinkles.
Lols made a card using a Tim Holtz Baseboard Window and a Mischievous Cat as the main focus. For the background she used a Glitch Cling Stamp Set, she white and black heat embossed the images, and then dipped the paper into puddles of Lost Shadow and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks. She added a Brick Wall Mixed Media Die Cut, some Wildflower 2 foliage and finished with a Small Talk Sentiment.
Macarena made a simple card with a nice neighborhood scene using houses from Stamperia Lady Vagabond paper. She made up a fence with Tim Holtz Sizzix Mini Lumber 3D Embossing Folder and added some Brushstroke Flowers Mini.
Maura decided to showcase some of the local architecture of the Adirondack Mountains and hand sketched a cabin. She used the Simon Says Stamp Adirondack Chair wafer die. Tim Holtz’s Bubbles stamp to add depth to her background, and added color with Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.
Meihsia was inspired to create a card using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps PEN AND PENCIL on the background, then colored it with Prima Marketing WATERCOLOR CONFETTI SET and added the sentiment with Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.
Zoey used Tim Holtz Ranger Alcohol Inks to create this colorful background. She also used Tim Holtz Christmas Cut outs to add this house and the stars. Home is where your heart is!
