Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Blooms Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are challenging you to create something with circles!

Going Round In Circles

Sabrina created a circular panel using  Tim Holtz Pocket Watches and Steampunk Texture fades Embossing Folders, Prima Special Screws Junkyard Findings and Mini Art Stones.

Andrea used circles in the background of her Dina Wakley 6×6 media journal page.  The circles were made with Tim Holtz’s Halftone and Rings stamp set and the sentiment is from Inky Antics’ Crafty Comments.

Anna-Karin made a tag full of dots and circles and in the bright green shades of May. For the background, she used Tim Holtz’s Gradient Dots stencil, and the letters and numbers were die cut with the SSS Archie Jr Solid set.


Barbara has created a collection of “one layer” tags! She used Tim Holtz mini stencil set 41Tim Holtz stencil ScrewedTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous TheoriesTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Nature’s wonder and a lot of Distress Oxides!

Cheiron created a colorful circle background with the rings from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Halftone and Rings stamps by coloring the stamp with Distress Markers, spraying it with water using a Distress Sprayer and stamping it onto Distress Watercolor cardstock. She finished the card with a Tim Holtz Paper Doll and some Small Talk stickers. 

Emma created dimension and layering to her circular panel by using Tim Holtz’s Industrial die, to die cut gears and cogs before combining them with two more of Tim’s dies, Timekeeper and Steampunk Parts to create the clock face which formed the main focal point of the project. As a finishing touch, she added a Paper Doll.

Kath created an Art Journal page in her Dina Wakley Media Journal with the theme ” The Circle Of Life” and used Tim Holtz Ideaology Found Relatives, Dot Gradient Layering Stencil, Mini Layering Stencils, Stampers Anonymous Entomology and Halftone and Rings and Sizzix Wildflower Stems 1 Thinlits.

Lols made a card using some products in the Simon Says Stamp May ‘Delicate Flowers’ Card Kit ,ie: Silver Sparkle Alcohol Ink Cardstock and Alcohol Ink Pearls along with a Tim Holtz Wildflower Stems 2 Die Set 

Macarena went around with circles with Tim Holtz Sizzix Timekeeper die and made a very dimensional card due to Prima Marketing Tillden Flourish Re-design Decor Mould and a vibrant pinky Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Butterfly

Maura found herself going around in circles this week in her art journal. She used Seth Apter’s Paper Artsy Eclectica3 ESA 12 set, Simon Says Stamp’s Amazing and Make Your Mark stamps, and Dylusions paints like Bubblegum Pink and Vibrant Turquoise

Meihsia was inspired to create an art journal page using Tim Holtz Layering Stencil MosaicClockwork and Splotches for the background,  and decorated the page with Sizzix Die Weathered Clock Bigz Alterations

Sandra chose gears for her card as they are going around in circles all the time and she used the Mechanics 3D Embossing Folder as her background and to color it she used Nuvo Shimmer Powders Atlantis Burst and Green Parade.

Zoey  used Acrylic Paint to add color to this textured background. For the background she used Tim Holtz Mixed Media Thinlits, Tim Holtz Plain Collage Paper and Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Ledger Script
