This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Cassie Lynch aka mk_knits into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Cassie used Stamperia Vintage Library Letters and Around The World Double Texture Stencils for the background. She used Tim Holtz Scorched Timber and Salvaged Patina Distress Inks along with Crackle Paste and Scorched Timber Distress Crayon . She added Photo Booth Photos to a Stamperia Movie Film stamped image. The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz Tiny Text Stamp Set

Andrea used Stamperia’s Voyages Fantastique Mixed Pattern Stencil and their white Contour Liner for her tag. The floral elements are courtesy of Simple Stories’ Life in Bloom patterned paper and Andrea loved trying some of Dina Wakley’s new paint colors: Malachite, Sapphire, Raspberry, and Mustard.

Anna-Karin made a mixed media canvas for her son, who loves whales. She used the Stamperia Arctic Antarctic die cuts for the animals. The bubbles in the background were made with Simon Says Stamp Snowfall & Banks stencil together with Ranger’s Opaque Texture Paste.

Barbara was inspired by the Stamperia Voyages Fantastique Mixed Media Pattern stencil to create a double project, a card, and a tag. She chose as protagonists The Professor Stamp Set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous and a beautiful woman from the Stamperia Voyages Fantastique Assorted Die Cut pack. The color are Distress Oxide Ink Pad Scorched Timber, Weathered Wood and Antique Linen.

Cheiron created a fun coffee themed card using Stamperia Coffee and Chocolate Ephemera combined with the Tim Holtz Freshly Brewed Blueprints stamps colored with Distress Watercolor Pencils. She created her background with Distress Spray Stains and stenciled over it using the Stampers Anonymous Splatters stencil.

Emma created a trio of Valentine’s gift holders and she used the Stamperia Coffee and Chocolate Daily News Stencil to create the backgrounds for each of them. She combined this stencil with Tim Holtz/ Sizzix die cuts, including Collector, Vault Pillow Box, Papercut Cafe Thinlits Die Set and the tiny die cut hearts, from the Lovebirds set.

Kath is tired of the dark and gloomy weather and can’t wait for Spring to arrive. She created a page in her Stamperia Stone Paper Mixed Media Journal using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Dotted Line and Cargo Layering Stencils, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Wildflowers with Scorched Timber Distress Oxide Spray, Distress Texture Paste Crackle, Broken China Distress Paint and Distress Watercolor Pencils to colour the crackle and the die cuts.

Macarena made an Art Journal page using Stamperia Sr. Vagabond Aviator Collectables for building the main composition and Tim Holtz Element Stencil Mechanical with Distress Micro Glaze and Distress Paints for the background.

Maura created a trio of sticky note tag books using Stamperia’s Coffee and Chocolate papers, Coffee and Chocolate Cappuccino stencil, Coffee and Chocolate Plates stencil, and Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Mocha ink.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Stamperia ORCHIDS AND CATS 12×12 Paper on the background, made the brick wall with Tim Holtz MINI STENCIL SET 3 and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology FACTORY TAGS Embellishments.

Zoey used a bunch of Stencils and Distress Inks to create her background. She used Alphanumeric Dies for her sentiment which she glued with Stamperia Create Happiness Matte Glue.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
