Simon Says: Stitch It Up

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the warm Winter Wishes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week we are asking you to add some stitches to your creation. You can use real, faux or die cut!

Stitch It Up

Ann created a “notions” journal for sewing project ideas and details. She used the Eileen Hull Journal Die as a base and embellished it with lots of Tim Holtz pieces. The sewing room dress form and  layered angel wings of  metallic kraft stock form the focal point on the cover.This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Ann-1-600x800.jpg

Andrea stitched together a book using the Sizzix Traveler’s Notebook die set.

Anna-Karin created a sweet gingerbread panel, using both machine and hand stitching. The gingerbread people were die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Fresh Baked 2 and the heart with Fresh Baked 1

Barbara has created a trio of Christmas tags using Tim Holtz Sizzix Framelits Stitched Circles dieTim Holtz Sizzix Cool Yule dieTim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Festive Overlay set and Idea-ology Paper Stash Metallic Jewels Kraft

Emma created a very special Christmas card for her parents, using a combination of Tim Holtz stamps, including Yuletide, Christmas Time and Sparkles, together with the Tattered Poinsettia and 3D Holly Die.

Kath used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Glorious Gatherings to make a Christmas card for someone special and used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Patchwork Pieces to add stitching details to the background and edges and machine stitching to the sentiment banner.

Macarena is resting from Xmas projects by making this masculine stitched card using Simon Says Stamp DieCember You’re The Best die, the Tim Holtz Dapper stamps and the Carabelle Studio Chiffres Grunge embossing folder.

Maura  got out her DMC Embroidery Floss in the New Colors and stamped a design on an apron using the Simon Says Stamp’s Sketched Flowers, Beautiful Day , and Choose Joy stamp sets, then embroidered her apron. 

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media Christmas tag using Tim Holtz Christmas Rubber Stamps Doodle Greetings to decorate the tag and embellished Idea-Ology Ephemera Pack Christmas Snippets with stitches on it.

Sandra made a black and white with gold birtday card, using the stitch stamps from The Queen’s Quips, that teammate Andrea designed. She used them with VersaMark, Bonding Powder and Pale Gold Foil.
