Anne has created a colourful and useful Homework/Desk tidy using Eileen Hull’s new Card Box, Planner, Storage & Organiser Die, Dina Wakley Heavy Body Paint and Jumbled Numbers Stencil along with an AALLandCreate Stencil #28 and Clear Stamp Set #13.
Andrea, a former teacher, knows that school can be tough! She taught a lot of amazing teens and was inspired to make a crazy-happy notebook with an encouraging quote to remind them to be themselves. She used Impression Obsessions’ “Like the Rest” stamp, the Cinch Book Binding Tool, and Dina Wakley’s Scribbly Birds stamp set.
Anna-Karin created a set of notebook for this week, as teacher’s gifts. She used Tim Holtz’s Entomology stamp set, together with SSS Thank You Teacher set. The books have a mix of white and kraft papers.
Barbara this week use a grunge/steampunk style to create an altered notebook. She was inspired by Idea-ology Paper dolls, Tim Holtz stencil Plus and Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Merchant stamp set. She colored her project with a lot of Distress oxides.
Cheiron made a simple card of encouragement for a friend that is going back to school. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Schoolhouse Blueprints, Tim Holtz Distress Markers and Clippings stickers.
Emma had fun altering a mini clipboard to create a vintage style project full of dimension and layers. She added Worn Wallpaper as a background before adding lots of Tim Holtz idea-ology including a Salvaged Baseboard, Paper Doll and Corked Dome filled with baubles.
Kath made a card for a friend’s grandson who will be moving up to secondary school after the summer holidays and who thinks that the tales of our schooldays are Vintage and Very Cool. Kath used Idea-ology French Industrial Paper, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Entomology and Mini Blueprints 8, Alphanumeric Thinlits, an Idea-ology Paper Doll and Numbers Remnant Rubs.
Macarena’s son is starting the last grade at an Technology College so the Tim Holtz Inventor 2 stamp set seemed to be designed for him. She die cut the background with Tim Holtz Sizzix Mixed Media 6 set and colored with some Distress Oxide inks.
Maura made bookmarks for her teaching friends, using the Tim Holtz mini blueprints Schoolhouse strip, Altenew’s Teachers Rule stamp set, Indigo Blu’s Calculus stamp, along with Simon Says Stamp’s Good Reading Background stamp.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media note holder using Sizzix Collage & Notebook Texture Fades Embossing Folders for the background and Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Life Quotes for the sentiment.
Sandra made a back to Hogwarts card, like in the school of Harry Potter. She used the Wallpaper stamp with Black Embossing Powder and Distress Oxide Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon to create a dramatic background. The Ornate Frame she distressed with Grit-Paste and Metallique Wax Bronze Age.
Zoey went full 3D creating this project! She used a lot of Tim Holtz Distress Paint to add color and she used Idea-Ology products to decorate it, such as Collector Ephemera Layers Paperie, Clipping Stickers Paperie, Ephmera Pack Emporium and Ruler Ribbon
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
