Thom used Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire and Distress Paint Prize Ribbon for the background, and then used stencils with Squeezed Lemonade and Picket Fence Distress Paint. He used Backdrops #5 and Worn Wallpaper Scraps Paper Packs and painted over with Squeezed Lemonade and Picket Fence. He added a few Paper Dolls friends and made some flowers from the Vault Boutique dies. He used Alphanumeric Bold andAlphanumeric Tiny Type Lower for the sentiment.

Andrea loves Dina Wakley’s acrylic paints and used a lot of them to decorate the cover of this Studio Light All White Creative Journal. She also used a Starburst stencil and a Geometric Dots stencil (both from Creative Expressions) along with some rings made with AALL & Create’s Heart Marks the Spot die set.

Anna-Karin created a mixed media seascape in her art journal. The sails of the boats were cut from Tim Holtz Memoranda Eclectic Elements Fabric. Simon Says Stamp Clouds For Days was used together with Ranger Texture Paste to create the clouds.

Barbara created a decorative panel using Stampers Anonymous Etcetera Mosaic Tiles. She painted the project with Ranger Ink Distress Paint and Distress Spritz. To make the focal point she chose many new packs from Tim Holtz’s Idea-ology: Layers Frames Montage, Cello Sticker Tape, Paper Dolls Poses, and Salvaged Hearts.

Cheiron “painted” with Alcohol Inks on Distress Black Heavystock. She used Snow Cap Mixative to get really vibrant colors to show on her panel, then splattered it with Gilded Distress Foundry Wax, and Picket Fence Distress Paint. She finished her card with a sentiment from the Just Thoughts stamp set.

Kath created a set of small notecards to gift to a friend. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Forgotten Garden with the Simon Says matching dies, Field Notes and Note Quotes, Mini Layering Stencils from Set 9, and matching colours of Distress Paint and Distress Spritz.

Macarena used several Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paints to color the background of her vintage card which she firstly heat embossed with random stamping all around using Tim Holtz Clear Stamps Dotted and Stitched and Simon Says Stamp White Fine Detail Embossing Powder.

Maura headed to her art journal, inspired by all the lovely blooms at this time of the season. She used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Abstract Florals stamps, Simon Says Stamp’s Whirl Dragonfly wafer die, and of course, paint, like Dina Wakley’s Lemon and Lime acrylic paints.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps NOBLE GENT on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology LABEL STICKERS THOUGHTS.

Zoey used various Distress Paint and used the Gelli Art 3×5 to create various backgrounds.
She also used Tim Holtz Layering stencil to create texture and design to her backrgound.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

Thom created a 50’s hipster Jazz vibe for this card. He first selected his jazz player from Tim Holtz Paper Dolls Portraits and then used the Stampers Anonymous Carved Instruments stamps with Ranger Archival Ink Black Soot. He cut out squares with his instruments and colored them with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass. He went over the outline of each instrument with Distress Paint Picket Fence and then added some highlights with Tim Holtz Holiday Blocks and Big Tidings.

Andrea chose a record theme for her tag, which she made using Concord & 9th’s Greatest Hits die set. She also used Wendy Vecchi’s Open Dots stamp and Dina Wakley’s Healing and Light stamp set for the background imagery. A little scrap of music paper from La La Land’s Spring Song paper tops off her tag.

Anna-Karin made a tag inspired by a song, which is sadly just as relevant today as when it was written almost 40 years ago. She used Tim Holtz Vault World Travel die set to die cut the globe and the title. The continents were die cut from kraft paper and coloured with Prismacolor pencils.

Kath created a page in her Stamperia Mixed Media Journal with a nod to the bird song symphony she enjoys every morning from the green finches and sparrows in her garden. She used Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Planks Background Cling Stamp, Idea-ology Serendipity Collage Paper, 49and Market Spectrum Gardenia Rub-onTransfers and Tim Holtz/Sizzix Feathered Friends and Alphanumeric Theory Thinlits.

Macarena made an Art Journal page with a background full of music notes from Hero Arts Collage Backgrounds Part Two Transfer Rub ons. She used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Collage Layer Frames and the Simon Says Stamp Tim Holtz Forgotten Garden Bundle set of stamps and coordinated dies.

Maura created a band to play some jazzy tunes for you in her art journal. She used Tim Holtz’s Hipster stamps, cut the images out with her Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail Scissors, and added some bright colors to the background, like Dina Wakley’s Stoked Gloss Media.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Lesia Zgharda Music Fox Clear Stamp on the background, and decorated it with Tim Holtz Idea-ology CLIPPINGS Sticker Book and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.

Zoey used Tim Holtz Idea-ology AVIARY Collage Paper for her background and added color with Distress Paint and Distress Mica Stain. She decorated her tag with a paper doll and some clippings from Ideaology

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
