You Are So Sweet
Hi readers! Happy Thursday! I’m loving this yummy inspiration by Heather Campbell featuring Avery Elle Berry Good Stamps and Dies with metallic embellishing! Doesn’t the gold embossing just pop? The accent of gold washi tape just really finishes off the card in a great way!

Today’s card shares one of my favorite techniques – watercoloring heat embossed images. I love how gold lines make everything brighter and helps the colors “pop”. To accent the gold, I added a strip of gold washi tape along the side of the panel which helps to ground the images. This is a fun and simple design trick and helps tie everything together.
Instructions:
1. Stamp and heat emboss fruit, dots and sentiment with gold embossing powder.
2. Die cut fruit with coordinating die cuts.
3. Watercolor and let dry.
4. Trim cardstock panel, add strip of washi tape and adhere panel to card base with dimensional foam.
5. Adhere fruit with dimensional adhesive and accent with sequins.

This is lovely! I agree, the gold embossing is so rich-looking, and its dimension makes watercolouring so easy (a built-in puddle pad for the paint/ink).
