WPlus9 Watercolor Bleaching

DSCN3139

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! I’m thrilled to welcome back Kelly Latevola as a guest designer on our blog! Have you seen this technique in action before? Kelly white embossed the WPlus9 Beautiful Bouquet Dahlia stamp set and sentiment, and used Tumbled Glass, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, and Salty Ocean Distress inks to get that gorgeous blended blue! Want to know how she made the floral portion lighter? Watch the video for details!

Enjoy!

  1. Beautiful card – Not usually a big blue fan, but this card is gorgeous! Thanks for including a video.

  2. Absolutely gorgeous! I am new to the whole distress ink thing so this looks like an easy technique for me to try. Thanks for the great video!

  3. What a truly beautiful card. I had to order this stamp today, which I had been thinking about doing but was hesitating. Not now! Thanks Kelly for enabling me.

  4. Hi, WOW!! this card is just beautiful. What a wonderful idea, it certainly looks as if the flowers were added not stamped onto the paper. They certainly do pop off the paper due to your fantastic art of shading. x

  5. Beautiful card, great techniques! I wonder if you went back in to color the flowers – they look bluer in the finished card than in the video.
