Welcome Baby
Hi readers! Happy Saturday to you! It’s getting closer and closer to Spring in the mid-west, and that makes me one very happy girl! Spring seems to inevitably bring lots of baby announcements and arrivals, so I thought that our guest Pamela Ho, made a brilliant choice for her card theme this month!
For a full supplies list and a brief description of the card concept, read on below!
Enjoy!
I wanted the stars to be metallic gold so I colored my white embossing paste with the Delicata gold pigment ink refill. I applied a generous layer of colored embossing paste onto the stencil for more texture and dimension as the background.
I colored and fussy cut the elephants from the Paper Smooches stamp set – A Little Lovin’. I didn’t have any gold thread so I took some sewing thread and colored it with the Delicata gold as well. The card was finished off with a sentiment from the same stamp set.

Those are the sweetest little elephants and I love your gold stars. So pretty. I would never have thought to put the gold in the embossing paste, I would have thought it would kill the shine. Great job.

Super cute card. I love the elephants. And that starry background is great.
Spring has already sprung over here. But we had no Winter to speak of. We went from Autumn to Spring! Today the weather was so gorgeous, warmer than southern parts of Europe. I wore no socks in my shoes! Heaven.
