Unique and Colorful Ribbon Designs | Let’s Get Crafty With Caly!
Hi everyone! It’s Caly Person here today!
Today’s cards all use the new Ribbon Quilt dies from the Moments in Time release! I loved using it the first time so much, that I knew I needed to use it again to get creative and make new patterns.
Be sure to watch the video to see how they come together – these were fun and relaxing to piece together!
WATCH THE VIDEO:
My first card uses solid ribbon strands. Each strand is layered with three additional shades of color to create a gradient for interest.
I used the Thank You Text background stamp to add a bit of movement in the background and added the thank you sentiment from the Thank You Basics stamp and die set.

My second and third cards use the Ribbon Quilt dies to create a “chain link” design. Instead of overlapping the two different colors, I weaved/braided them together. This was a happy discovery while I was playing with the paper strips and loved how they turned out. It’s my reason for having two color combinations for this design!
To give it more birthday vibes, I added Party Candles before adding my embossed sentiments from the Birthday Basics stamp and die set.
Each card is embellished with Northern Lights Embellishments.
I hope you enjoyed these projects! I hope this inspires you to play with the Ribbon Quilt dies! There are so many possibilities with this simple die set and it’s sold at a great price point, too! Happy crafting!

These are so cool
Wow, these ribbon quilt cards are seriously cute! Love how Caly used the dies to create such different and awesome designs. Definitely gonna try this myself! So inspiring!
Creating the happiest holiday season starts with intention. I focus on meaningful connections, not perfection—whether through thoughtful confetti machine traditions, simple joys, or giving back. It’s incredible how small acts of kindness and time spent with loved ones can transform the season into something deeply fulfilling and genuinely heartwarming for everyone involved.
