Tim Holtz Flip Frame!

Happy Saturday!!! I’ve got a mixed medium project for you today using the Tim Holtz Flip Frame. This is basically a collage on a tag… but upside down!

I started out with the #8 Manilla tags from Ranger where I folded the bottom about 1 1/2″ to fit inside the frame and to be durable for hanging.

I collaged some Tim Holtz Pocket Cards onto the tag using Multi Matte Medium. From there, I added my photo and embellishments.

To finish things off, I used a few of the Tim Holtz Heirloom Roses and Industrious Frames and Trims stickers.

I shot a video of the complete process. You can view it below or one our YouTube Channel.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Weekend!

  1. LOVE this framed piece with all the little trims, charms, stickers etc! Thank for your awesome video!

  2. This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration. My niece is getting married in November, I think I will use a wedding picture, and parts of her program, and make something for her as a house warming. ^_^

  3. What an amazing way to showcase the photo of your sweet grandchild! Sure do admire your attention to detail and how every element is perfectly placed!

  4. love this idea, need something like that for my reinvented craft room/ studio….
BTW at what point does a crafting area become a Studio?
