Crafty with Caly: Delicate Outline Flowers
Hi friends! Happy Sunday! Please join me in welcoming back special bi-monthly guest Caly Person in her latest edition of Crafty with Caly! Be sure to watch the video for more info and enjoy!
Hello, Friends! I hope you’re getting lots of inspiration from the Rainbows Release! I saved the Delicate Outline Flowers for today’s feature and I’m excited to share it with you!
I stamped and watercolored my card for a no-line look today using Daniel Smith Watercolors. It was a slow process, but the end-result is always worth it. It requires a lot of patience and if you can zone out, it’s quite relaxing!
WATCH THE VIDEO:
I die-cut my panel using the largest Stitched Rectangles Die and mounted it over a panel of Fog cardstock using foam adhesive for lots of dimension.
The sentiment on today’s card is also new! The You Are Enough Dies are a wonderful size and perfect for the background stamp I’m using because it doesn’t cover too much up.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. Thanks so much for visiting! ~Caly

Thanks so much for stopping by and thanks to Caly for being our guest!
Your card is so lovely. The colors you used were beautiful and the water coloring instructions were very helpful.
Whoever gets this card is one lucky person. If it were me I would frame it.
Thank you for sharing.
Oh my gosh, my mouth fell open when I saw your beautiful card. The techniques that you showed really show that we can do this kind of work out here in the field. I’m always so scared of doing things like this, but think now will give it a try. Also, thought that was a great idea to swatch out your paints. Need to do that.
This is the most beautiful watercolor background card I have ever seen. Thanks for the tip would have never thought to use vellum for sentiment background.
Caly, your work is amazing!! The depth and colors are so beautiful!
Wow!!!! Gorgeous!!!!
Hi, SSS and Caly – This is a KNOCKOUT card (did not try to do that… but it’s like knockout roses!). Thanks for your narration and your frequently reiterated reminder to be PATIENT (not my strong suit, but I have improved a lot since I became a teacher!!!). Your cards always inspire and make your viewers want to improve their abilities. Love your work and you!!
