Tim Holtz Flip Frame!

Happy Saturday!!! I’ve got a mixed medium project for you today using the Tim Holtz Flip Frame. This is basically a collage on a tag… but upside down!

I started out with the #8 Manilla tags from Ranger where I folded the bottom about 1 1/2″ to fit inside the frame and to be durable for hanging.

I collaged some Tim Holtz Pocket Cards onto the tag using Multi Matte Medium. From there, I added my photo and embellishments.

To finish things off, I used a few of the Tim Holtz Heirloom Roses and Industrious Frames and Trims stickers.

I shot a video of the complete process. You can view it below or one our YouTube Channel.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Weekend!

  1. Pretty cool, Sherry. You make collage look so easy. It’s a challenge for me. Thanks for the ideas and creativity. :)

  2. What a great project! Would be great to use for a graduation present – do a card of the person as an infant, then do a card on the other side with the person in their graduation gown and cap

  3. OMG how totally pretty this is! Such beautiful details. I wish I was so talented, that I could make such great art! This would look great in the living room or would be fun to give as a present for a special occasion.

  4. Lovely and stylish! Prooves best that metal colors match perfect as well as the usual pastels to our little sweethearts – sometimes even better!

  5. Really nice! I like the idea of the flip frame as a way to display small art pieces. I’d probably want to decorate the back, which would show if people flipped them.

  6. OMG What a Georgeous Sabby Chic Frame! I love every single thing that you used to create what’s inside the frame it is breathtaking to say the least!! The picture is oh so precious definitely an outstanding creative job!! Gosh my wish list just became enormous!! YOU so ROCK!!

  7. Fantastic, I love this frame. Like so many have said already, the perfect start to a great gift. So many ways to decorate. Love your take on the tag, beautiful elements to your project.

  8. Such a beautiful project! This flip frame is super cool and something I never would have known existed if you didn’t share with us today. Thanks for the gorgeous idea! :)

  9. What a fabulous project – I just love it — as I love all your creative and wonderful projects! Thanks so much for sharing this work of art!!!
