A big thank you to YOU, our reader — and to Laura Bassen for being our guest!

  1. Hey Laura (and SSS ) –

Writing on an upward slope L to R supposedly means you are an optimist. Downward as you go = pessimist. Supposedly. I think of school cheer pennants – maybe that is what’s giving you “varsity” vibes. In fact, C9 had a pennant suite a while back that had vertical stripes in its pennants, if I am not mistaken.

You’re right, Laura. We’re always gonna be here for strippin’ it up variations.

I have a shirt like this from Lori Goldstein. I will take a pic of it and send you a message.

🤣🤣🤣A visitor to this site who doesn’t know what “losing a tiddle” means might think it’s naughty. I usually give up and cut a new one.

I think it’s busy but it’s just within bounds, IMO. I think it’s also the color combo — you have pink and green and black and blue and yellow and red! That’s primary plus plus! I like it but I think cutting the horizontal segments a little wider would be good.
