Thanks Card
Hi readers! Happy Thursday to you! I’m happy to welcome back guest designer Kelly Rasmussen to our blog today with a beautiful thank you card to share with you. I always like getting new Thank you card ideas because it seems that those are always so good to have on hand!
Enjoy!
Stamps and wafer thin dies are my two greatest loves in the crafting world. Today I’ve made a card that showcases four die sets from both Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp as well as a floral stamp set from Hero Arts.
I started out by die cutting a piece of vellum using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles dies. Then I stamped a floral pattern using the Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Flowers set and Unicorn Pigment Ink. I adhered this circle to a square card base made from Simon Says Stamp Fog Cardstock (which is the perfect gray) and added some faux stitching with a white gel pen.
Next, I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Small Folded Banner from watercolor cardstock and colored it with a pink watercolor paint.
I really love all the word dies that companies are making these days, so I am thrilled about the Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Thanks set, which features my handwriting! The set includes a 3×4 clear set with a coordinating die, which I featured on my card today.
I finished off the card with some Simon Says Stamp Mini Heart Dies covered with Ranger White Enamel Accents.
