Sweet 3D Lawn Fawn Baby Card that folds flat!
Hi friends! Happy Saturday! Please join me in welcoming special guest Tammy Stark to our blog today, representing some FABULOUS and NEW Lawn Fawn products! Read on to learn all the details of this fabulous card, and enjoy!
Hello friends! I’m thrilled to be on the Simon Says Stamp blog with a project highlighting some brand new Lawn Fawn products! I had so much fun creating this baby themed Pop-Up card, featuring Mama and baby elephant sitting on a die cut moon in the clouds!
To begin, I stamped the images from Elephant Parade, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Elephant Parade Dies. I added some highlights to the colored images using a white gel pen.
Next, I die cut the box card from white cardstock using the Platform Pop-Up Die and assembled the base. I then cut the back piece of the box from the Let It Shine Starry Skies 6X6 Petite Paper Pad using the Platform Pop-Up Add-On Die, and attached it to the base. I then die cut the clouds from Bristol smooth cardstock using the Platform Pop-Up Cloud Wrap Around Die and Platform Pop-Up Cloud Inserts Die. I ink blended the wrap around and inserts with Tumbled Glass and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide inks, splattering some Salvaged Patina (thinned with water) onto the clouds, then attached them to the base. The moon was cut from Bristol cardstock using circle dies and then ink blended with Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks. I attached the moon to the base, tucking it behind the large cloud insert.
Next, from Mermaid Cardstock, I die cut the sentiment strip from the Portrait Heart Garland Backdrop Die and stamped the sentiment from Elephant Parade using Jet Black Premium Ink, attaching to the front of the card base. I then attached the stamped images using foam tape for dimension.
Lastly, I added some ‘floating stars’ to my project. I die cut the stars from white cardstock using the Moon and Stars Mobile Die, and lightly inked them with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink. I then attached the stars to thin strips of acetate, and then onto the cloud inserts. The hanging star was cut from black cardstock from the Moon and Stars Mobile Die, then layered with a yellow star, and attached to the back of the moon to complete my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I inspired you to create something fun and unique with some new Lawn Fawn products at Simon Says Stamp! -Hugs,Tammy
