Hello and welcome to day 2 of Summer School!

Today’s teacher is none other than Mrs. Shari Carroll! Shari has an amazing, masculine card to share. She shows how easy it is to use the new Teacher’s Pet supplies to create cards for the manly teachers out there!

Shari Carroll Teacher's Pet

We love how Shari used just a part of the Scrambled Letters stencil to create her embossing paste background. The colors are perfect for a masculine card and that pop of orange makes the mini chalkboard she created stand right out! How fun is her chalk sentiment?!

Supplies

  1. I am a sucker for alphabet stamps and the large set with stencil is perfect for many cards. Masculine cards are stretch my thinking so I’m appreciative of her awesome card.

  2. I love Shari’s card! I do like the kids rock stamp set & lunchbox note dies combo. Would be so cool for the tutoring program I coordinate :-).

  3. What a great Teacher card. I’m loving the Lunch Box notes die. My fourth grader would love getting notes in her lunch. :)

  4. I REALLY love the color combination on this card! It’s super cute, and would be super easy to make. I even think that this would be a card that you could make multiples of, without taking too much time, for another occasion, or if you had multiple male teachers to bless. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Now, if I could just FIND my dang craft supplies…

  5. I haven’t been in school in years and this is my idea of going back! No grade just fun bright colors. So cool. That pop of orange is a super idea.

  6. Love the bright orange addition to this card! My favorite thing is the Scrambled Letters stencil. Stencils are really fun & this one has so many uses. Can’t wait to get one!

  7. I am definitely in love with the the kids rock stamp set & lunchbox note dies combo! I can’t wait to get my hands on them and surprise my little girl with little love notes

  8. My favorite product from this release would have to be the ABC Art Stamp and Stencil Set! So many fun possibilities!!

  9. I love the way Shari C thinks…way cool. I love the scrambled letter stencil and the stamp but I love the lunchbox note combo as well…no kids anymore but I love putting notes in my hubby’s bag. There are just too many awesome things..I want them all!!!

  10. I don’t think I have ever seen anything of Shari’s designs that isn’t wonderful. She always nails it perfectly. I struggle with masculine cards but this is great and it looks rather easy too.

  11. I love the Lunch Box Notes and dies! I can see them being great for making sweet cards to send to my grands. Love to use embossing paste!

  12. My favorite products from this collection is the lunch box note dies set. I think they can be used for so many things!

  13. Shari,
Your cards are always *spot on* I really like the Teacher stencil, as this can be used anytime of the year. Thanks for sharing.

  14. I love the lunch box notes craft dies. They are a wonderful size and can be used for so many things! Love the card…so much texture on the card!

  15. I absolutely love the Lunch Box Notes Die! I can see that being used in so many different ways. Thanks for sharing….

  16. The lunch box notes die set is amazing. Love it, and being childless and out of school probably the thing in the collection I would be most likely to use.

  17. I really love a multitude of the new items, but if I had to pick just one, it would be the lunchbox dies set. The shapes will lend themselves to so many cards, tags, and of course, lunchbox notes.

  18. What a great idea. The stencil could even be placed so that the initial of the teacher was personalized. It would be a keeper, I’m sure. Thanks, Shari.

  19. Awesome card! I must say I like the stencils and the dies. Ink pads with the matching card stocks are also in my list to try. Thanks for sharing and for the chance to win.
