Summer School with Shari Carroll
Hello and welcome to day 2 of Summer School!
Today’s teacher is none other than Mrs. Shari Carroll! Shari has an amazing, masculine card to share. She shows how easy it is to use the new Teacher’s Pet supplies to create cards for the manly teachers out there!
We love how Shari used just a part of the Scrambled Letters stencil to create her embossing paste background. The colors are perfect for a masculine card and that pop of orange makes the mini chalkboard she created stand right out! How fun is her chalk sentiment?!
To see how Shari created her card, you can watch the video below:
Summer School wouldn’t be complete without the chance to win some crafty school supplies, right!?
Just leave a comment on this post telling us what your favorite new product is from this collection by August 10, 2014 and we’ll randomly select a winner to win the prize pack shown above!
See you tomorrow for day 3 of class!
I am a sucker for alphabet stamps and the large set with stencil is perfect for many cards. Masculine cards are stretch my thinking so I’m appreciative of her awesome card.
I love the stamp set, but the white pen will be my next purchase, thanks for the great ideas!!!
Great stamp set. Can’t believe it’s almost time for kiddos to go back to school.
I love Shari’s card! I do like the kids rock stamp set & lunchbox note dies combo. Would be so cool for the tutoring program I coordinate :-).
What a great Teacher card. I’m loving the Lunch Box notes die. My fourth grader would love getting notes in her lunch. :)
Wow, You Rock Shari! Great to see a masculine card for teachers, thanks.
I REALLY love the color combination on this card! It’s super cute, and would be super easy to make. I even think that this would be a card that you could make multiples of, without taking too much time, for another occasion, or if you had multiple male teachers to bless. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Now, if I could just FIND my dang craft supplies…
Oh, and my favorite new product has to be the lunchbox stamp set and dies together! LOVE!!!
I haven’t been in school in years and this is my idea of going back! No grade just fun bright colors. So cool. That pop of orange is a super idea.
My favorite product from this collection is the Simon Says Stamp inks! I have been wanting them all recently! Thanks for a really cute card!
Love the bright orange addition to this card! My favorite thing is the Scrambled Letters stencil. Stencils are really fun & this one has so many uses. Can’t wait to get one!

I don’t think I have ever seen anything of Shari’s designs that isn’t wonderful. She always nails it perfectly. I struggle with masculine cards but this is great and it looks rather easy too.

That is, thank you Shari!

Really like the gray card base.
The lunch box notes die set is amazing. Love it, and being childless and out of school probably the thing in the collection I would be most likely to use.
My favorite is the teacher die, always love a new die!
Love the card. Anything cool for a guy is great. I am still liking the SSS ink pads.
The ink pads are my favorite…I need some new ones!
My favorite is the Kids Rock Stamp and Lunch Notes die set.
I really love a multitude of the new items, but if I had to pick just one, it would be the lunchbox dies set. The shapes will lend themselves to so many cards, tags, and of course, lunchbox notes.
I love the stamps, but the lunchbox notes dies are my favorite.
What a great idea. The stencil could even be placed so that the initial of the teacher was personalized. It would be a keeper, I’m sure. Thanks, Shari.
Love the Simon Says Stamp alphabet background :)
I love everything in this release, but my fave is the Scrambled Alphabet Stencil…so cool!!!
