Studio Monday with Nina-Marie: Masked Stenciling Featuring Picket Fence Studios
Hello everyone, it’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you. Today I have a masked stenciling project to share, which features products from Picket Fence Studios! I’m using their Joyeux Noel stamp set, Winter Snowflakes dies, and Winter Forest Scenery stencil set together to make this snowy Christmas card.
Using the Winter Forest Scenery and our Simon exclusive Circle Masks stencil sets, I ink blended the scene that is my main focal point. The blending was done with Distress Ink colors from Tim Holtz, including Chipped Sapphire, Salvaged Patina, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, and Pine Needles.
I layered my ink blended scene onto a card base that was embossed with our Simon Says Stamp Filigree Snowflakes embossing folder. I embellished the card further by adhering a few of the Winter Snowflakes (cut from white cardstock) in and around the scene.
