Simon Says Hop to It Blog Hop and New Release Reveal!

hoptoitbn

Hi friends!  Welcome to the full reveal and blog hop of our new release “HOP TO IT!

What inspires you?  Our design inspiration for this series is exactly that…. to inspire.  My card making friends have been inspiring me to be a better person.  Whether it’s taking care of myself through exercise and meditation or enjoying time spent with loved ones, friends provide tons of positive inspiration. Knowing that Spring is just around the corner is especially inspiring to me too.  Hope, rebirth, and unconditional love is celebrated through the joy of Easter. The beauty of flowers can take our breath away and lift our spirits. I wish I kept up with exercising like I should and I certainly don’t always manage my schedule in a healthy way, but these things uplift me when I need help and encouragement.  Through card making we can inspire each other!

It is our greatest hope as a family at Simon Says Stamp, that we inspire YOU like you inspire us!  Hopefully these product designs help us to encourage each other.  Do you know what I mean when I say, there is nothing like getting home after a long, (and cold!) day and seeing a vibrant, beautifully hand addressed card on the top of the mail on the kitchen counter? Seriously!?  Right!?  Handmade cards rock!

Shari Carroll made this card using Rain Rain Go Away Set from the new HOP TO IT release.

I am deeply grateful for Jennifer McGuire’s friendship and that she has connected so many people in our industry to form lasting friendships.  Jennifer is always spreading love and kindness.  After Jen introduced me to her dear friend Shari Carroll, my daughter Abby formed a quick friendship with Shari too.  It’s a blessing that people like Shari radiate light and love wherever they go! Shari designed the stamp and dies set inspired by my daughter, Abby.  Abby loves her boots and ponytails (and pink!)  Never has a product release been more personal to me. Thank you Shari :)

  4. I love Blog Hopping and this release looks like fun! Thanks for giving us the chance to see the ideas from such talented women.

  5. This is a fantastic release with some great products. The hop showcased them beautifully. I love the encouraging word stamps, the Easter products with a Christian theme instead of bunnies and eggs, the stencils (YAY!!) and Abby is a dear. The stamp seems to capture her perfectly and I look forward to more from Shari. This card making community is full of positive inspiration: talented people generously sharing ideas and instruction, fantastic classes, blogs with encouragement instead of drama, and I really love that between all the small companies and vendors there seems to be a supportive and not-so-competitive atmosphere. You are right that Jennifer McGuire is a big part of that. But card-making, in and of itself, is a hobby that builds relationships and spreads encouragement. It is fun to be a tiny part of this community that is so full of beauty. The day I stumbled on Kristina’s blog started it all for me and I am loving every minute.

  6. Heidi,

Abby is such a cutie and is getting big! Hard to believe my babies are all grown up now; they were still in high school when I started shopping at your store. I do really miss that stage. The stamp set inspired by her is adorable and I had to have it and everything else in the release like usual.

  7. What a beautiful post! I am inspired by all of the incredible friends I have made in the stamping world! And it is so fun to see people you know and admire from their online work have opportunities to design products! I love all the wonderful new stamps and dies! And the “Abby” set just melts my heart!

  12. This blog hop was A-MAZING! So many wonderful products and so many wonderful project displayed by such wonderful paper crafters. I love each and every one of the samples they supplied. I don’t know how I can choose one project or one item as my favorite. I love all the dies..like the umbrella because I like to make shaker cards and this would be perfect for that. As far as stamps….I love all the girls and the Encouragement sentiment set. I also like the rain drop stencil. I guess I did list a few things but oh so hard when they are all great! Thanks for having the hop to showcase everything. Great job!

  13. I like watching card examples and videos on the net and I am most inspired by the videos that Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire make. I like watching their videos. So I am really happy that they are part of this blog hop!
