Simon Exclusives with Shari!
Hey there everyone! It’s Shari here with a really quick Valentine’s Day card inspiration for you using Simon Dies, Stamps and Stencils.
I tried something new with my background. I masked off part of the Falling Hearts Stencil and colored the white Embossing Paste with Simon’s Schoolhouse Red Ink… I like how it worked out!
Of course I had to layer things up, and what better way to show off the background than to create a Pee-A-Boo frame from the Medium Tag Die!

The peek-a-boo frame is something I never would have thought of myself. I’ve just recently got a bigshot and some dies, so seeing these wonderfully creative ways to use dies is just fantastic. I also love the color choices (red, light blue and white). The background really makes the red pop.

your cards are always so amazing, and your videos make it look effortless… the other day i tried using the glue pen to adhere a fine die cut to a card and i had it stuck every where but on the card!

Super cute Valentine’s card! Nice sketch. I like the colored, raised hearts. Great use of dies, too. I seem to always stamp my sentiment in a dark color. I like the way yours looks in the lighter blue. Blends quite nicely. :)
