Shaker Wings Card

Pamela-Oct02

Hi readers! Happy Sunday to you! How is your day going so far? I hope it’s going great!  I’m always happy to welcome back guest designer Pamela Ho to our blog! I love what she made for us today! It’s such a gorgeous CAS design yet that special shaker function in the wings makes it so beautiful and a great design to make & send out!

Enjoy!

This simple Christmas shaker card started off with a simple stamped card panel using Paper SmoochesA Blessed Christmas stamp set.  I colored in the sweet angel using my Copic markers – yellow for her hair, blue for her dress and grey for some shadows.

I then used my knife to carefully cut out the largest part of her wings so she could have some glitter-y wings :)  I backed it with some clear acetate and pour in some glitter.  The card panel was adhered with foam tape onto my card base.

  2. what a brilliant idea! makes me wonder what other stamps I have that could be partially cut to make a shaker card.

  3. What a beautiful card Pamela. I just adore the Angel and the wings look so lovely. What a great idea. Thank you for sharing with us.
