Shaker Wings Card

Hi readers! Happy Sunday to you! How is your day going so far? I hope it’s going great!  I’m always happy to welcome back guest designer Pamela Ho to our blog! I love what she made for us today! It’s such a gorgeous CAS design yet that special shaker function in the wings makes it so beautiful and a great design to make & send out!

This simple Christmas shaker card started off with a simple stamped card panel using Paper SmoochesA Blessed Christmas stamp set.  I colored in the sweet angel using my Copic markers – yellow for her hair, blue for her dress and grey for some shadows.

I then used my knife to carefully cut out the largest part of her wings so she could have some glitter-y wings :)  I backed it with some clear acetate and pour in some glitter.  The card panel was adhered with foam tape onto my card base.

Thanks for reading today, and thanks to Pamela for being our wonderful guest!

  1. You’ve got me thinking about all the stamp images I have that can be turned into shaker cards. I love the glittery shaker wings!

  2. Thank you for the inspiration! I’m definitely going to try making a beautiful card like this, with a similar open-winged image!
