And we couldn’t leave out a very Happy World Card Making Day from Simon Says Stamp! It’s a holiday created just for all of us! Last year we shared this epic video, and it’s too good not to share again!

The best thing about World Card Making Day is not only making cards, but the idea that there are people all over the WORLD making cards, too. These people share our passion for creativity and happy mail. In the spirit of this connective nature and to celebrate our favorite holiday, we’ve compiled a video featuring designers from around the world. Meet your favorite designers, peer into their worlds, and hear what they love about making cards (in 8 different languages)!

WATCH THE VIDEO:

How fun was that? And now we want to hear from you… tell us your name, where you live, and what YOU love about card making!

World Card Making Day was created in 2006, and the original purpose was to kick-start the holiday card making season. Chances are you make lots of cards for Christmas, but we all know that those beautiful cards don’t come together in one night. So grab your scissors and adhesives and cardstock and stamps and make some cards today! Your family can fend for themselves, right? You deserve to celebrate.

  2. I am from Iowa.I love card making because it makes people feel extra special when I give them a handmade card. Also I love, love, love color and there are plenty of inks, markers, and all kinds of fun things with color in this segment of crafting.

  3. What a fantastic blog hop! Jennifer McGuire’s cards are amazing (as always)! I love the variety of cards from different creators using the same products and appreciate all of their examples/creations! Happy Holidays everyone!

My name is Bunny, I’m from Jacksonville Beach, Florida and I love creating cards to give to people who really need a hug when there’s no one there to hug them. There are so many organizations that would love a card especially to give to a senior citizen or shut in.

I thought after I purchased the Tim Holtz Stamptember that I wouldn’t be back for any more Christmas but y’all just keep cranking out pretty things that are showcased so that it’s hard to say no. And oh mercy did we get spoiled on free shipping, y’all.

  10. Hi, I’m Cindy and I’m from Northern California. I’ve been cardmaking since the early 80’s. My how things have changed over the years. I love cardmaking because (most times), it’s relaxing and just lets me “escape). And it always makes my heart happy when I know that my cards brighten a recipient’s day!

  11. Wonderful cards from Nina-Marie and Beth! I’m enjoying the inspiration on the blog hops! So many fabulous creations! Awesome designs in this release!

  12. I’m from PA. I absolutely love the levels of artistic creativity in card making. There can be 1000 people using the exact same materials, yet you’ll see 1000 completely different cards. It’s amazing!

  13. Yay I’m off to hop. I love the autumn cascade stencil. Would love to see someone featuring it.

  14. I can’t say enough about this great new release. I’ve enjoyed seeing the creativity of the designers. Is there an
    “I want it all” button?
