Ranger Razzle Dazzles at CHA!

Good morning from sunny California!

The first day of the 2015 winter Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) show is over and now we are on to day two! Yesterday, I got to peruse the new wares of lots of my favorite craft companies and I am happy to report that there are LOADS of product releases to look forward to!  So much so that my calendar is already marked!  It’s true, I am a planning nerd, but how could I not be excited with products like all of these from Ranger??

From Dina Wakley:

Have you played with Dina Wakley’s paints before?  The best way I can describe them is dreamy and smooth!  Joining the twelve previously released paints and mediums are metallic paints in Gilt, Penny, and Sterling as well as Black paint!  In case that isn’t enough…Dina also has Glazing Medium and a Fine Tip Applicator!

Fun fact:  the fine tip applicators make it possible to write or draw thin lines with paint!

From Wendy Vecchi:

I’m a fan of the existing Wendy Vecchi archival inks and embossing powders and lucky for me, 3 new colors are on the way:  Buttercup, Rose Petal, and Sky Blue!  Something that Wendy demonstrated well yesterday was that you can use embossing powders for off-the-paper techniques!  The alarm clock above?  Embossed!  All you have to do is use the archival inks, add embossing powder, and heat!  Wendy advised that the archival inks are the way to go for this technique.

From Ranger:

Ranger’s stickles are wonderful for adding a bit of pizazz to your projects and these new colors are fantastic!  Also being released by Ranger: dye and pigment ink pads and reinkers, paint dabbers, large jars of embossing powders, mixed media cardstock, transparent texture paste in matte and gloss, and fillable jars!  Oh yes, and a mini glue stick that is about the size of chapstick.  Quite cute!

From Dyan Reaveley:

I’ve finally acquired some of Dyan’s Dylusions Ink Sprays for my home craft room hoard.  The vibrant colors are so fun to use with stencils and there’s no denying it – you feel like a true artist when you’re covered in ink!  This year, Dyan’s collection will include (drum roll please) paints!  I got the opportunity to try them hands-on and they are wonderfully vibrant!

From Tim Holtz:

If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting on the edge of your seat for this.  It’s finally here!  To coordinate with the distress line, Tim Holtz dreamed up the idea of Color of the Month!  This month’s color is Cracked Pistachio and I can’t help but love it!  Distress Mini Ink Pad kits will be released every fifth month…and speaking of…mini ink pads are now open stock!

There is much to love from Ranger.  Just about every time I craft – whether painting, stamping, drawing, or spraying – I reach for one of these Ranger essentials.

Thanks for reading!
