Rainbow Hello
Hi readers! Happy Sunday to you! I hope you’re taking some time to enjoy your weekend. I’m pleased to bring you this gorgeous and brightly colored card made by the fabulous Lucy Abrams!
Enjoy!
Stamp the Chevron Pattern in Versamark ink on watercolor card stock, then emboss with white embossing powder. Use Distress Markers as watercolors to paint the chevrons by scribbling the markers into a palette then adding a little water. After the first paint application, wipe over the whole thing with a baby wipe to soften the colors and remove pain from the white embossed areas. Then add more paint to highlight certain parts of the design. Die cut the ‘Hello’ from watercolor card stock then press Charcoal ink directly onto it, then add Rock Candy Distress Stickles and allow it to dry. Adhere the die cut to the card with foam adhesive.

Thanks for the tip about dabbing away color then adding some to highlight certain spots. Also really like the texture of die cutting from watercolor paper and coloring with an ink pad. Going to give both of these ideas a try!
