Patterned Paper Stamping – More Monthly Card Kit Inspiration with Kristina Werner!
Hello, all! Kristina here with some more inspiration using the June 2018 Card Kit! The patterned papers from Moda Scrap in the kit are gorgeous, right? I thought it would be fun to use the Beautiful Flowers stamp set from the kit with the papers specifically.
NOTE: The card kit itself is currently sold out, but you can buy the main elements of this card separately: the Beautiful Flowers stamp set and Moda Scrap Fly & Scrap patterned papers.
I stamped the large floral stamp directly onto one of the papers, and then stamped the individual flower stamps on a different piece of patterned paper. This gave me the opportunity to have the flowers be different colors!
I cut each flower out and then lightly shaded them using markers from Tombow’s Pastel set of Dual Brush Pens. The markers in this set of markers were perfect for the colors included in the patterned paper! I also scribbled the green and yellow shades of markers onto a slick surface and picked up the colors with the N00 markers (clear marker in the set) to shade the leaves on the larger stamped image.
The greeting was stamped using VersaMark ink and then coated with Gilded embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I assembled the paper piecing by adhering the flowers using foam squares.
I hope you enjoy the video today! Thanks for stopping by! You can subscribe to future card kits HERE.

Perfectly beautiful card!! Thanks for the inspiration stamping on the gorgeous patterned papers in this kit!! Can’t wait to try out this technique myself when my kit arrives in the mail! ?
Beautiful card and what a unique way to use patterned papers. Loved the use of the water color look patterned paper so much for the flowers that I may also try making my own watercolor paper for this technique after I use up what comes in the kit. The pen line frame really finishes everything off nicely. Looking forward to giving these tips a try. Thanks for sharing!
What a cool idea, didn’t realize that the three flowers were an exact match to the larger flower, very cool idea!! You could really layer up those flowers for some dimension!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a stamp like this before, can’t wait to get mine in the mail!! Thanks for sharing your inspiration for #sssck
I love how you stamped the image directly to the patterned paper! The individual flowers I thought were all colored by hand. It’s such a beautiful card! Thanks for the inspiration.
