Hey friends! Are you as excited about the new Among the Stars release as I am??? I LOVE the new Build a Rainbow die, and I thought this would pair up great with the new Uplifting Thoughts stamp set to create some happy cards!
The Build a Rainbow die set is really versatile and there are so many ways you can use it. I ended up cutting the rainbow in half to create two cards… and I loved it so much I had to make two more! I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to color in my rainbow, but you could definitely use other coloring mediums for this, or even cardstock if you are short on time or not a big fan of coloring!
You’ll see I created these rainbow scenes with a few other Simon products;, including the Happy Days die set. These dies are actually a coordinating set to the Happy Days stamp set that came out with the May 2016 card kit. However, all the shapes are really great for using on their own, which makes them a great addition to you stash, even if you do not have the stamp set! I used both the cloud and sun dies for my scene, but I could see all sorts of fun being had with all the other dies too. When you take a look at products in a creative way, and not just the obvious, you can come up with so many unique card designs!

I love the versatility of the entire collection! The stitched banner dies are awesome… long enough for bookmarks!!! The Shine On set is so perfectly cool, especially with the Stacked Stars die.

As always you guys don’t dissapoint! I love love love this release! There is a little bit of everything for everyones style! Florals and sentiments for classic cards. Fun summertime sets for whimsical cards. The stacked stars and the celestial Shine On set are full of possibilities. Felt dies for the sewer, and the mosaic dies which are great for mixed media and will totally work with the Tim Holtz paper mosaic kit!! Bravo! Absolutely amazing release!

I swear that I really did mean it when I resolved to not buy more products until I’d used more of the ones I have. Then you come out with a new release, SIGH. I ooooooh, and aaaaaah, and make a list of what I’ve got to have.
I won’t look at the designers ideas, for about 10 seconds then that resolve ends.

The summer stamp set with the adorable bear in his swim trunks is my favorite of this release. Absolutely adorable.
This whole release looks amazing, but I instantly fell in love with the tropical leaves set. There’s so many techniques and ways you could use this stamp set; absolutely beautiful!
Great new release! The ice cream die is super cute, and I love that rainbow too! And I’m really interested to see cards made with that new solid floral stamp set. :)

I need to have the flamingo background! I also love all the die cut shapes, the small banner shapes are my favorite. The rainbow is darling , exspecailly with the watercolor paper used for die cuts.

Oh man there is SO much to love about this release that I could name them all but my very very fave is the uplifting thoughts set as I make my little girl cards of encouragement for her lunch all the time but especially every Friday because she can be very hard on herself if she makes a mistake..even though it rarely happens I want her to KNOW that she is loved20/20 or 19/20!

Great new products! I really adore the Uplfting Thoughts stamp. I am always on the look out for new encouragement messages and encouragement cards are some of the best cards to send too. The stacked shape dies are also something else I am excited about.
